Really hope Meiji can stay up and not relegate. Its certainly going to motivate me to sign a lot of stronger riders. Its a whole new dynamic but it sounds fun, as well as adding pressure to me and teams like Oz.
This will also make the transfer season even more competitive, which being a team that chooses from a limited area, it definitely scares me
Well, as you have already two Kiwis in your squad, you probably can try to go after Bewley then.
Or.. should I go and try to bring Bauer and Scully to my team instead?

@valverde You just need to exploit the soft spot a lot of managers seem to have for Meiji, and get yourself a few bargain deals!

Soft spot? I have no idea what you're talking about!
But yes, I will surely have to find some deals. I also know a few of my targets are actually on disbanded teams, and will be free agents though, so that should help.

I'm not sure my preoccupation with Meiji is a soft spot...

It sounds like a great new way for the ManGame, but just be careful that it doesn't kille the reporters and so on. It may be too big, and that would be a shame.
But I think everyone knows their own limit, and will be able to cope

The newest database available at the moment is the one from the start of the season right? The one made after renewals. I'm just browsing a bit, but can't wait for an updated one.
Check out my ManGame team here

Correct. The new db is currently being checked by the reporters for any errors/duplications, so is nearly ready

Great idea, I just hope the free agent market is plentiful to avoid too much pressure on the prices. |

Two questions that have popped into my head:
1. How will the experience gaining work now, with C2 races added into the mix?
2. How will the PT wildcards system work? Will it be the same as before, with new PCT teams being unable to get Monument and GT wildcards? |

I believe that the exact numbers are still being decided but basically C2 races will provide the most experience for level 1 riders.

I don't believe that this has been discussed yet but is a very good question.

Similar to last season, except obviously now C2 races give more experience to a lv.1 rider than C1 races. The exact values aren't definitive yet (as far as I know), but shoould be announced soon(ish).
Can't answer your second question.

It is.
At least it feels like, but a lot depends on how many new teams will be accepted, and how serious their regional focus will be.
Still, with 7 teams promoting, the top riders could end up being quite overprized.

I think as promoted squads need to be really careful in overpricing these so called guarenteed relegation avoiders.
We all know who the top two or three free agent guys will be and it's worth pointing out that Cafe de Colombia only finished 15th in the Protour. That was a out what was effectively an 18 team line-up with Domina Vacanze no showing and the worthless Warner Brothers propping things up.
Obviously I say this hoping others give up easily when the time comes so I can snap up a big gun or two

I certainly won't
I'm literally sleepless because I have no idea of how to fit 2-3 leaders and a sufficient amount of domestiques into my cap space...
Renewals have to be really good for us this year, and I'll have a hard time to stop hunting for all these talents waving at me.
Plus, some managers have to be really nice to me

Remember that you do get 1mio more than last season. That is a lot of money, and if you believe some of your riders are overpaid, just let them go.
If you can pick up better free agents for less than your current team dictates, then I wouldn't hesitate one second to change it all. Or those part of the team that needs changing to survive.
