Martin takes the victory. Gavazzi 2nd, Capecchi 3rd, Nocentini 4th and Marczynski 5th.
Edit: Martin took the victory by 45 sec before the group of seven.

Abdolutely strong effort by Martin. Now nothing can stop him from the 2nd GC win in a row, except for tomorrows final near the great wall.

Well no-one can say this race is boring from now on, as today was very fun stage. And hopefully tomorrow we'll be similar too.
Great win for Martin and looks to make it 2/2 in Bejing so far.
And Andy is still in the race

Any stages for him? |

Well, the main thing is he's recovering from his (serious) injury, and he's back in the saddle. |

Sounds like a classy victory for Martin paired with some stupidity from the rest of the break. Letting the best TTist in the world go solo with 20km left after a hard day had really hurt the pack (and therefore the chasing domestiques)? Not their finest hour. |

Nice to see him winning races like this in this way instead of on a TT
Sutty, don't worry, I first thought Daniel, too |

First mass start stage win for Tony since the Crans Montana stage in TdS 2009
Good effort by Lotto neo-pro Tim Wellens on 16th.

Looks like it was a good ride from Martin. And from Andy. |

I was just remembering last years race when Dan Martin had a good time in Beijing and automatically thought it was him |

Dan Martin was obviously targeting the mountains competition. Won the first two mountain sprints. |

More likely he was just up the road and decided it would be kind of fun to wear the Polka Dots. Plus I'm sure the premes were nice. Usually in races other than GTs, the KOM competition is mainly focused on by secondary level riders (even this years Vuelta is a great example, Simon Clarke? Or what about Charteau in the Tour a couple years back. And those were GTs). They'll take them if they walk into them, but I doubt Martin was really thinking about the KOM before the race. |

Except that Dan Martin did not ride in Beijing last year
Tony Martin won the GC, or you may be thinking of Nico Roche who won a stage
