Nah. Quintana is something special. Something you only see once in 10 years
Yeah I can see him developping great. But it's his first GT. Just thinking about is and the Giro also was Henao's first GT so it's possible that he end's that high.

Gesink finished 7th in his first GT, also at the Vuelta, at age 21. And he is no Quintana.

I won't make any predictions, but I will say that I'm afraid Contador will destroy everything. Hopefully the other riders won't have too much respect for him (Giro, anyone?).

What is meant by 'biggest fail'? I see someone for example selecting Valverde, but he said he would go for a stage win rather than the classification - so if he does bad in GC, then that's not a fail, is it. Or Van den broeck - he comes to the Vuelta with no real ambitions and no real preparation - so it would be difficult to define what a fail is, in his case. |

OK, but almost everybody selects GC guys - I hardly see sprinters in the 'fail' category for example. Nevermind. |

I think De Gendt will disappoint. His preparation does not seem ideal - his bad TT at the Belgian Championship being due to too much weight loss in too little time. |
