WOW! Thanks for all the kind words. Was a nice victory, let's hope Morkov can keep up to take the overal! Csabi13, If you mean who is my leader for the Giro, that will be Kreuziger.
Santos Tour Down Under: Stage 3
The third stage is flat again. We will have to control the pack to defend Morkov's leader jersey. That means we won't have anyone in the break. No expectations except for keeping the leader's jersey.
The break of the day is rather small today. 4 riders should pose no threat today, especially as they are all more as 2' behind.
We controlled the pace for the first half of the race untill Lampre (Petacchi), Sky (Cavendish) and Lotto (Greipel) started chasing.
10 km to go and the escapees put in a last dig. The chasers can already see them and will catch them a bit later.
The sprint preperations have started and Petacchi sits in the wheel of his teammate Bole. Cantwell is positioned very well in the wheel of Cavendish who is behind Henderson.
All the other sprinters came closer today but it's again Petacchi who takes the win. Cantwell did very well and jumped out of Cavendish's wheel to take a very good 6th place.

GC
Good day for us as we didn't waist much energy defending the leader's jersey. Cantwell felt very well and took a great 6th place for him.

Great to see morkov still in the leader jersey. I think/hope he can hold it until adelaide.

I hope too that Morkov can keep the jersey till the end!
Santos Tour Down Under: Stage 4
The 4th stage is flat again. We have to control the pack but hope we don't spend too much energy keeping tomorrow's stage in mind.
14 riders in the break but nobody dangerous for the leader's jersey. So we keep the pace in the pack very low.
That doesn't stop Sky, Lampre and Lotto from chasing as they want another chance for their sprinters.
The break is almost caught with 3 km to go. Sky and Lampre both have a good lead-out train but passing the break might bring some problems.
Passing the red kite, Sutton is in the lead but his leader Cavendish is behind as he was stuck behind an escapee. Haussler and Petacchi start their sprint so Sutton will have to give everything untill the line.
Petacchi is again the strongest. 3rd sprint, 3rd win. Ale Jet is really dominating here. Haussler takes second while Sutton was able to hold on to take 3rd. Cantwell had no chance today.

We didn't lose the leader's jersey so not a bad day but we didn't get a good result either.

Santos Tour Down Under: Stage 5
The 5th is the most important stage in this year's Santos Tour Down Under. The finish lays on top of Willunga Hill, where the race is decided every year. We will try to keep Morkov in the leader's jersey.
Only two riders in today's break of the day. Cordeel for Lotto and Phinney for BMC.
We take full control of the pack and start chasing 50 kms before the first ascent of Willunga Hill.
Rabobank and Mollema took control of the pack on the first ascent. This made Morkov drop to a 2nd group but we brought everyone back together in the descent.
Phinney dropped Cordeel on Willunga Hill and with 5 kms to go his advantage is still around 1'30. Looks good for the stage win but he still needs to reach the top.
Entering Willunga Hill, Hauslerr is the first of the favourites to attack. Sorensen is keeping Morkov at the front of the pack.
When the sprint to the line started, all favourites moved to the front. Seeldraeyers looks the strongest and is trying to pass Phinney. Morkov could no longer follow the best and is trying to limit his losses.
Phinney had to race to the line and couldn't celebrate but he was just strong enough to keep Seeldraeyers behind him. Hausslerr completes the podium.
Morkov passes the line in the peloton. He lost too much time today and has to give the leader's jersey to Seeldraeyers. He is in 5th overal now.

Morkov gave everything he could but couldn't defend his leader's jersey. Too bad but we can't be mad at him.

Thanks! Fifth is indeed still very good...
Santos Tour Down Under: Stage 5
The Tour Down Under ends with a criterium in Adelaide. The route is almost completly flat so we can expect another mass-sprint.
Juul-Jensen is part of the 7-men strong break of the day. Most important rider at the front is KoM-jersey O'Grady.
Like in all flat stages, it are again Sky, Lotto and Lampre who are chasing back the break.
With 10 kms to go, Juul-Jensen is the last of the escapees to get caught by the pack.
Lotto finally made a good lead-out so Greipel can defend his chances. Bole is a bit gehind them with Petacchi in his wheel. Cavendish and Haussler are also at the front. Cantwell can't keep up at the front.
Greipel started his sprint with a slight advantage over Petacchi. The Italian closed in on him but the German was just strong enough to hold on and take his first win of the season.

This Tour Down Under went better as expected. We took a stage win and have two riders in the top 10. Especially Morkov did great!

The Tour of Qatar is probably, well certainly, the flattest stage race of the whole season. That's why this race is generally dominated by sprinters. We brought the team's best sprinter, Juan Jose Haedo, to get us some good results. Beating Kittel will be tough but he should get some top 5's and atleast one podium place.

Tour of Qatar: Stage 1
The first stage in Qatar is ofcourse flat. We will try to get in the break so we don't have to work in the pack. Haedo will then go for it in the final sprint.
Lund is part of the leading group together with 10 other riders.
3 teams take up the responsibility to chase back the break. Radioshack, Astana and Spidertech work for their sprinters.
This means that with less than 10 kms to go, everything is back together and we can expect a mass sprint.
Ventoso went for it early so he is in the lead with less than 1 km to go but Kittel on the left and Guarnieri on the right are closing in on him.
Ventoso lost some speed and Kittel had an extra kick to take a rather easy victory. Guarnieri is third. No surprise here. Haedo wasn't strong enough to give himself a decent placing.

Well, We certainly expected more from Haedo but he lost too much energy fighting for a good position. Let's hope his results get better.

The second stage is a short ITT. We don't have any goals for a good GC so this stage is not really important.

Indeed, I hope it too!
Tour of Qatar: Stage 3
The 3rd stage is for the sprinter's again. Haedo hopes to do better, much better actually, as on the first stage.
A break of 8 is chased by a break of 5 but the second group never connects with the first.
That doesn't matter as Argos and Movistar work together to bring both these groups back.
The sprint preperations are a bit missy and that means that Kittel has to start his sprint from very far out with both Ventoso and Guarnieri in his wheel.
The German held on very long but saw the other two overtake him during the last 500 metres. Ventoso takes the win here in front of the leader.
Our Haedo did much better today and finishes on a decent 8th place.

Tour of Qatar: Stage 4
4th stage and we can expect another mass sprint. Haedo will try to better yesterday's result.
10 riders in today's early break. We don't have anyone in it.
Movistar doesn't do any work today so it's Argos who are chasing the break alone here.
Entering the last 10 kms of the stage, 3 riders attack from the break. Andriotto, Pena and Kaupas hope to stay away here.
And they succeed as Movistar gave no help to Argos. Andriotto was just stronger as Pena and Kaupas.
Kittel leads home the peloton 30" later. His teammate Degenkolb takes 5th, too bad for them they didn't get any help in the chase. Haedo is again nowhere to be seen.

The break succeeded today. Maybe we should have had someone in it but we tried and failed. Let's hope Haedo can do better again tomorrow.

Tour of Qatar: Stage 5
Another flat stage. We will put someone in the break too prevent what happened yesterday.
Marycz is our man in the break. He is accompanied by 11 others.
Movistar does all the work alone for a long time but Argos knows they can't be as stupid as Movistar was yesterday and starts helping them.
Wu and Muravyev are the last two to get caught with less than 10 kms to go.
Argos' sprint train is the strongest today. Haedo is fighting with Kristoff for the wheel of Manan who is in the wheel of Kittel.
Surprise at the finish here as Gavazzi takes the win in front of his teammate Guarnieri and Abel Richeze. Haedo was blocked twice and couldn't fully defend his chances.

Haedo was better again but he got blocked. Not his fault today.
