Not keen fan of Sky's sudden burst of brilliance but your theories Likkivi are frankly ridiculous |

Last time we were here, Pereiro's constant attacking downhill on the last descents meant Landis didn't have the opportunity to eat, bonked massively and lost 8 minutes.
You know what to do boys

Landis looked heavier though. I'm convinced Sky riders can survive in a desert without eating for months. Skeletons don't eat, remember. |

If Evans wants to win the Tour, he has to attack. He can't always wheel suck the Sky-letons. The climb, although suitting Wiggins, an explosive rider can easily try to break the group, although Sky will always try to relay those attacks, but they don't last forever (unless they're doped). |

He tried to copy Wiggins diet, but it had a different effect on his body.

Being a Sky and Wiggo fan I want this to be a rather dull, wheel-following day.
Being a cycling fan I really want to see the yellow jersey pretenders have a go on Madeleine or Croix de Fer.
As others have already pointed out, if the race is intact at the bottom of La Toussuire then I don't see anyone putting Wiggo under enough pressure to take time. La Toussuire's rolling nature is ideal for Sky and Wiggo.

If all the GC contenders start doing what Van den Broeck did today then slowly but surely Wiggo will begin to crack under the strain, if they don't then there will be no change in the podium positions |

It's the same side that the Madeleine was climbed from in 2010, and the race blew apart then
time to see the likes of Basso (is he even riding) and Vanendert in the early break, create some danger for Sky |

If you mean real money
I bet yesterday on VDB beating Evans, today I will do the same - bet 2,1 |

dont get too excited for this stage....
as Madeleine and Croix de Fer are too far from finish, the pace will be rather slow, and the final climb is long but not enough steep
if climbers want to gain some good time, it has to be a monster attack allready on Croix de Fer, even if Wiggo isnt 100% on La Toussuire he wont lost over 1min...
I expect this scenario:
Madeleine and Croix - slow pace, everybody just looking around
Mollard-maybe some attacks from riders from top 20
La Toussuire - high pace set up by SKY, some attacks from F.Schleck, VDB, Rolland but at the end nobody will gain more than 20s
sad |

given how poor that final climb is, i reckon we'll see a descent attack, and then a couple of riders go up together (thinking Nibali, Evans and VDB)
or that's what i hope, we'll see more nothing imo |

Short and difficult stage, should be great. But oh wait, the last climb is not hard enough and we have Sky super mountain train in the race, so no chance for bigger gain. And Froome will win the stage.
I hope at least for some great breakaway/polka-dots battle, this should spice the stage.

Great stage today. ¨
Perfect to shake the sky train, as it is hard all day, could have wished for a harder finish, but still the stage is brilliant.
My hope is that the team Sky will be under pressure all ready on the Madelaine, and then the other teams will try to get rid of porte and rogers with high teampo on Col de la Croix.
When they are gone it has to be attack attack to try to make Froome or Wiggins Crack. If that happens it full speed all the way home.
If the first 130 km are raced hard enough i believe La Toussuire could still be hard enough to distance Wiggins or Froome, stille would be better with a harder profile.
