Excellent result, by far the best we have had so far in the classics... Busche has been absolutely fantastic in his short time for us, and I suspect Dave will be very happy to see him return to Wikipedia! Roche did well also, and top 10 overall should be possible now.
Typical stuff from Grau - he is a bit of a specialist at breakaway wins.
Enjoyed a new reporting style not dissimilar to mb I guess. It was well written in the main, perhaps a little underwhelming towards the end.
Seems to be a lot of helicoptor shots - I think used sparingly these are good to use (did you have graphics issues with the rain, I have that somethimes?). I feel as if a few too many helicoptor shots were used to be honest.
Ginanni had decent support there - bit off they couldn't bring it back together the way he finished.
That's the general problem with the race. Decent puncheurs in a mid-race attack are rarely brought back.
I did the race 6 times since the reported one, and only twice the favourites battled it out.
It's because the constant up and down disrupts the chase, and there are not enough domestiques left after the first two laps.
Then the leaders do the relay for a short time, and then try to get away.
When 4 or 5 of them get away, they catch the leaders, but if they stay together, noone does enough effort.
Thanks for all the kind words and honest improvement suggestions, I'll surely be able to do better the next time.

Top20 isn't bad for us, so I can't be disappointed.
This kind of surprising victories have become so common, they're hardly surprising any more. It would be nice though, that my meagre line ups could grab one of these wins for a change, but I'll keep on dreaming
Anyway, nice report cio. I agree with Smowz in the helicopter shots thing, but that's just a detail, overall it was pretty good to me, thanks for that
