Jesus Christ, it seems VDB doesn't bother - just like the Dutch in football though he is from Belgium... anyway, a podium finish is still the target, though I doubt Rujano will be that "open" for attack again.

Ratiy stealing some time Hopefully he will be in a perfect position for the mountain stage now (as my team should place him well in the TTT). Also a nice stage by Anacona!

Brilliant ride by Reis. Too bad he couldn't hold his opponents for one more kilometre.
Unsurprisingly, Nicácio gives away much more time than expected in such a tiny slope. At least he wasn't the only one, but the top10 is a bit further away now since he isn't that good of a climber.

well, it could eventually end much much worse for me...Clement & Van Goolen did great job taking Rujano safely back to pack, hopefully they still have enough of energy left for TTT.

In the breaks, one stage podium and not last in the TTT. Good race so far.

That was a decent team time trial from us, "only" loosing a minute with only Zrimsek above 69 in the TTstat. Would be nice if Nordhaug can take a solo lead in the mountain jersey competition on the next stage. |

Strong performance of my team, but it´ll be really hard to fight against incredibly strong Bianchi. If nothing bad happen, podium is a must for Rujano.

Damn. This was not expected...
Except of Boom this was probably my best TTT line-up.
Hesjedal, Velits, Blank, Von Kleinsorgen are all decent and I had hoped to be somewhere in the middle. |

I had expected more :/ Most likely the others got exhausted when they tried to follow Schädlich and that made it go much slower on their turns...

It's going to be interesting to see what the AI makes of the GC situation come the final stage.
Van Den Broeck is a long ways down with the likes of Igor Anton - logic suggests those two will provide the fireworks. Is it possible that VdB will attack on stage 4?

I don't know of my riders will play a that big part in the GC.. They aren't that good climbers with 78 maximum at the mountains. De la Fuente has a gap but good climbers will take that gap easily.
Too bad the TTT was after the 1st checkpoint a bit too hilly for Mazur and Aramendia with Lloret.

Not the best sprint by my team. Blank in the better position but the worse train and Ariesen is bringing all the others in an excellent position...
Still two riders in the break is nice. |

That was obviously a stage were we should have joined the breakaway. But I can't complain, and nice to see Jaramillo test his legs, hopefully he can do something similar on the Queen stage. |

Good to see the team active in some way, though our focus should fully be on VDB so he can save this race for us!

And Tom Criel takes the stage win! Thats exactly what Trilux wanted from this race.
I couldn´t express it better than that. The last realistic chance in this race and i got the stage win.

It seems that getting those last few stage wins to complete my goal of ten just isn't going to happen.

TTT wasn't great for us, but it's hard to do better with such crappy timetriallists in the team. Still hope that Niemiec can sneak into the final Top 10.
And nice result from Pirazzi on stage four! A shame that he waited a bit too long with his launch, otherwise he could've been on the podium. Fourth place isn't bad at all though.

For the record, my team used to be good at TTT's
From the very first TTT of the CT, at the Tour of Qatar
