Oscar Gatto and Juan Antonio Flecha will be the team's leaders for the first race of the season of Blusens-Avintia. Despite not being very dominant in this kind of terrain (a hill top finish, plus another hilly finish), both riders will try to give their best for early success for the Spanish team. The target of the team here is to have a rider inside the top-20, at least. Riding at home will be Cameron Meyer, after racing his National Championships. Meyer will be defending the title from 2011, but that doesn't worry him right now, as his main target is to gain form for the Worlds in September. Blusens roster completed with Matteo Tosatto, Patrick Gretsch, Jon Aberasturi and Daniel Ricardo Diaz.
