Great result for me, but worried about the next stage now. Undoubtedly the AI will have my team work all out for Selander at the expense of Martinez who could actually do much better in the GC at the end of the race.
Oh well, on a really good run of results at the moment. Won't last, but must enjoy it |

Satisfying result for us. Now it's time for Rolland to show something, a Top5 is possible if the breakaway riders won't stay ahead.

No great surprise that a break took that stage, Pirelli need to take control of the next stage and I hope Red Bull play it smart. A guy up the road may the best move in this stage.
Moreno is the best climber in the team and he should be able to be around with most of the climbers. Hoping that we get a really decisive one.

Big congrats to Emu for that one, it was a great stage to watch.
I'm so impressed that De Greef is really showing himself up there. These are the sorts of unexpected results I need to stay inside the top half of the rankings.

Really don`t like this race. In these small races 2/3 of the stages end in breakaways.

Oh. My. God. That. Was. Unbelievably. Awesome.
I don't know what the two remaining hilly stages will bring, but we could definately start them in the yellow jersey!

Bizarre tactics there - Pirelli dropped the ball somewhat by not really having the resources to chase it down. We are in a decent striking position for the hilly stages but I don't think they will make the drastic changes to the classification. Still a decent team effort on that climb.

Can't believe Colorado lead the favourites home Too bad he lost time when he crashed to have any impact on GC

Dont understand why Rapha were designated as a team to chase down attacks. But for another successive race, it seems the breaks have ruined the race for me - this time forcing my team to waste time waiting for Teklit.
The amount of breakaways is stupid, and wrecking the game at the moment

That's what I like to see! Gonna struggle to stay top 3 tomorrow, hopefully Navarro can find something left.
Great reports as well. |

Nice riding by Rolland here, he can really help give Puma that extra little boost they need.
If De Greef can keep his 5th place I will be absolutely ecstatic. I'd like to see him attack on the next couple of stages though.
The next one will be up in a couple of days.

Nice work Puma, great ride for Rolland.
Not sure what to expect from the last 2 stages, we aren't great in the hills. |

That was a decent turn around from Rolland to get into the leaders jersey. None of the top five are weak enough on the hills to be dropped that badly, I wouldn't have thought - though I'd like to think that Red Bull will be one of the teams trying to rip things apart.
Riders like Roche, Monfort and Froome will surely attack so plenty to play for.
I don't know how I will cope with the disaster of Moinard being displaced by Roche!

Thanks CountArach, jack888 and Smowz
Really surprised to see Rolland that good. So far, everything went perfect. I just fear the hilly stages will give us splits...

We aren't either, so expect breakaway wins

Nice 6th for Bobridge.. if he can keep this 12th in GC, I will be satisfied.. but everything can happen, as we all know

Been away on vacation so it's a bit easier to hide my disappointment in this race.
The team is still looking for its first big win, and the lack of depth in my team is turning out to be the biggest reason for this. Roche should be on his way to win the race and really turn his season, after a decent performance in Capo but top 5 is the best I can hope for now..
Busche and Kinney were magnificent in Capo and Guatamala, so I can't really blame them for the lack of success here so I guess it's more or less about luck.

A really odd stage this time. I have to say, I do really think that the reason Gerrans won was because of the lack of domestiques in the other team. As soon as Lowe started working the gap came down really fast. Same with Busche working for Roche, but these are only two men. Red Bull are the only team here with the depth in puncheurs to chase down big gaps like that, and they obviously weren't going to.
