Lol, is Serrano a sprinter now?
Happy with the result anyway, not a bad start for us given that we don't have a proper sprinter in the team.

There are almost no sprinters here, so he genuinely deserves his place as a one star favourite. In the hills he actually becomes a 2 star favourite due to the lack of riders here who can do anything but climb.

Nazaret already out of it? Seems so.
Not bad stage for Team WWE. Circuits are tricky. Should be illegal!

D2 starts rolling with Serrano doing a sprinter
It is a pity we didnt send a proper sprinter, he could have even a better chance. Congrats to Davis and his team.

Terrible luck for Emu Export and not the best day for Aker either.
But nice to see a D2 rider in the Top 10 at least!

Shapira,Shapira,Shapira
It looks like it was a good move to send him there, mountain points is exactly what i hoped for. Great job from Laverde too and Davis is the stongest sprinter in the field obviously.

Really bad for Nazaret there.
I'm happy Lövkvist managed to stay in the peleton both stages, maybe good that Bjelkmark and Eltink didnot now I hope they will do the teammaterole really good! |

Awesome!
I might not have the strongest team, but we are defiantly performing like one and it's too bad that Davis is so strong else would Barzajev have won at least one time!
Only bad thing is that we lost Saldarriaga in that other group, but I hope that will turn out to be a good thing since the man could be seen in breakaways now.

This first mountain stage should be interesting. Stetina, Jeannesson, Peterson and Colex are still in a good place. Keeping momentum up, and avoiding bad luck are two things on the agenda.

Well, the 1st 2 stages couldn't have gione any better, 2 wins for Davis and no one lost any time either
Be interesting to see what happens now as the mountainous stuff begins, should be more open now. |

About what I expected from the D2 team. On Stage #1 all the D2 riders stayed safe and in the peleton. Serrano showed how tough he was battling into 10th place. On stage #2 Shapira made his run and had a great day. He was impressive in the break battling for both Mt and sprint points. Ending the day with the polka dot climbers jersey.
Overall Laverde Jiminez and Bonnaford have not lost any time to leader Davis. Stage #3 the first climb of the race will give the team a chance to show that they can support Laverde Jiminez. Look for Nozal or Esmaeli to try for the break on the climbing day with the other working as Lavede Jiminez's protector.
Good luck lads, keep comming at them like waves - On the attack every day. |

Really impressive from Serrano getting a top 10 in the first stage, flying the Div-2 flag high. Also good to see D2 riders in the breakaway on both stages. Personally I am very happy that Laverde Jimenez did not lose any time, it will be interesting to see how he does on the first mountain stage.

Well done again, this time Hirschlein featured in the breakaway. Vasquez continues to drop from the peloton, would be nice if he was planning something for the upcoming mountain stages.
And congratulations again, to Davis, Hollister and ltt! |
