Ah a leader's jersey would have been nice but this will do. Elijzen can probably hold on for a decent GC position from here.

PCM 11 is a killer for a teams with a hilly leader. Great result for Rothaus, Roturn was probably looking for this scenario with strong team here. Now it will be interesting how the team will handle the Velits/Passeron/Boom situation

A good stage for us with Jelloul, tinged with a bit of disappointment that he couldn't do a little better in the final sprint.
It now depends on whether the breakaways are good enough to defend their positions - quite a few including Jelloul have a hill stat of 70. So it will be tough to claw back time on them - that said stage 3 and 4 looks tough.
Vorganov losing time is a real shame also - he will likely go on the attack now I should think as may some of the better punchaers.

Good stage for me, congrats to Rothaus.
I can't wait for the next transfer season, anyone will hunt fighters with decent hill, flat and sprint stats to win from breakaways

I wonder how this would have ended if Astarloza didn't crash. He was unlucky. The others in Team WWE performed as expected.

Good enough showing by Roche - top 3 is still in sight and I believe the final hilly stage suits him. Kinney did well to hit the break today, the team should have something left in the tank to help Roche.
Congratulations to Ginanni and Vespa - Nice win for them.

3 riders top 10 on stage, 2 in GC and closing in on the team classification. Not bad.

You don't believe how pissed I was when playing the stage. I was like WTF is the AI doing there.
Losing Passeron very early, Kunitski puncturing and Boom and Hermans waiting for Velits. Worst stage for me of the whole season for sure.
Smowz probably thinking similar. |

Me ... no not really I can console myself with the (temporary) CTour rankings lead - compared to the super punchaers here old age Krichen, Cherel and Veloso are powderpuff.
Jelloul actually battled pretty well and I am ever hopeful of a breakaway win on the penultimate stage. Possibly Jelloul again? More likely Vorgonov c'mon Eduard!
A very interesting stage race, unpredictable action.

Can we just cancel hilly races from the calendar next year and delete all the puncheurs???
I think we let them back in again on strict probation terms.
Hope Ginanni can keep the jersey now and it gives him wings. Have to tell myself it is Ginanni though....so anything could happen. |

That was a serious AI bug. Can imagine it being a torture to see your own riders doing that, roturn.
And congrats to Vespa!

Interesting stage, very odd tactics by some. Good to see Kinney strong in the break doing a good job for Pirelli and Roche

Interesting race so far. Everything is still to be decided in the next stage, but I'm glad the hilly leaders finally appeared. Though, I fear the 3 highest positions may already be decided. Hope not, let's see what's in store for Stage 4.
Tough stage roturn. Nevermind, karma will strike back

I certainly do. Losing Vanendert to the first selection and then having Gautier work for Elijzen rather than following those attacks.
Congratulations to Vespa.

This is what i had on mind when talking about how the Rothaus will handle the multiple leaders situation, PCM is just tragic approaching this
Congrats to Vespa.

This is really a shit race for me.
If Kunitski at least collected 2 more points.
Why riders don`t bother to fight for the points if not having any points so far. Ovechkin, Van Zandbeck and Kunitski just started to fight when randomly collected points in the first 2 KoM challenges by riding in the first row of the non fighting riders? |
