Champion System is listed as Chinese. It should be Hong Kong
And in the scouting map, there is a Panama button located in the ocean NW of Iceland

It's listed as Chinese on the UCI website, so that's what it should be
About Panama - in fact, all new regions are NW of Iceland. Not sure if I can do anything to remove them completely.

Garmin wears the old white Giro Ionos instead of that new Blue helmet that was being used for the EXP Pack.
And Hong Kong and a few other country flags are also pink although I figure thats my fault.
Also Efapel - Barbot's logo is pink, atleast for me.
No problem with the flags at my end. I have attached a backup of the Local.cdb to this post.
No need to comment on the equipment, as said in the initial post.

I think the Tour de Vendée causes a crash when you click on it. Does for me anyway.
I just checked the DB and the files, and Tour de Vendee should work just fine. I simulated a season, so there shouldn't really be any problems, at least not in the 1st season. Try to reinstall.

What you always have to consider is: Are there enough teams in the DB that can/should race in XXXX? In the 2011 edition of Herald Sun Tour, just 8 of the teams in the DB participated which is not enough.
(Yes, the same goes for races such as Langkawi, but the difference is that they come with the Cyanide DB)

Weird thing is. The riders from Hong Kong are listed as being from Hong Kong, so it must be recognized as a nation bu the UCI.
Yet, at the team information page https://www.uci.ch/templates/BUILTIN-N...p;LangId=1 Hong Kong is mentioned as a part of China :S
But never mind...China is correct apparently

It's usually a good idea to read the thread before posting. |

I can’t load the database when using the DB-editor (cyanide). An error about “IDequipment” shows up.
I remember there was a similar problem with the 2011 database – but I can’t remember how to solve this.
Help (don’t know if this is the right thread to post this) |

The DB is not compatible with the standard editor. You will have to use a different editor, e.g. Full Editor, Fast Editor or Lachi's Editor. |

All the riders have the limit 0? Why is that? |

That is normal. Just select "random potenitial" when you start your career.

Modare: Uhm ... why not? The limits are automatically generated when you start the game.
fcancellera: Why should he choose random potential? |

Okay, but in the Daily's Expansion Pack V1 are limits? Why there and not in this one? |

Why are they in the Expansion Pack V1 and not in this Pre-Beta for the 2012 version?

Open a savegame instead of the database, then you will see limits |

There are no limits in any database. Only the save-games have these set limits. |

Great db. Just one thing: José Gonçalves, a rider from the portuguese tem Onda Boavista is not the person on the photo. The Onda's rider is actually the twin brother of Domingos Gonçalves and the national under23 time trial chaampion. I just think he deserves the right photo. |

Just some stats I've noticed that probably need updating:
Martin Gilbert should probably only have 72 in sprint instead of 73, as he hasn't shown much last season, but feel free to keep it higher for the sake of him being on Spidertech
David Boily I personally feel his mountain/hilly stats should be a point or two higher because of his performance at the L'Avenir and also his potential since he's one of Canada's biggest future talents as a Stage Racer.
Hugo Houle I think he needs higher TT stat, and he's quite good on the flats, as well as being a Fighter. For TT 64 is just too low, he probably deserves about 68-70. He has had quite a few decent finishes last season.
Ryan Roth He also needs a bit of a boost. I would say his fighter stat is too low, but not by much, and also he is a very good Prologue-er as proven in the USA ProCycling Challenge. He definitely needs something around 70-73, not 61 He won the Univest GP a pretty big race for all North America Conti teams.
Edvald Boasson Hagen As much as I like him, he's pretty much impossible to beat when playing against him. He's better at sprints with a hilly finish, and he's proven to be an pretty average climber, so I'd say his sprint stat is just too high. I would say 77-78 would be good for him, and of course he will improve anyways. I dont really believe he is a quicker sprinter than Feillu for example whos at a 77.
Stefano Pirazzi- He should have higher climbing stats, as I believe he is one of the key domestiques for Pozzo as well as a good bet for a breakaway on a Mountain stage. I don't have any proof really but I noticed this during the Giro. I would suggest MO/Hill be something like this 69-71/68-71. Also I've looked at his Giro results and he finished inside the top 50 on a couple ITT's so his 58 should definitely be upgraded
Esteban Chaves - Well he was quite a strong climber shown throughout the Tour de L'Avenir and also looks to have a very bright future. I would say he requires climbing stats in the low 70's as well as a fairly good potential.
Ryder Hesjedal - I wont get into his climbing stats being lower than Danielson even though he outclimbed him in the Alps at the TDF. But what I think needs to be changed is his Downhill stat. Its 76, but he is a lot better than that imo, and not too far off Hushovd. The Tour of California is a good example, where he dropped Paul Martens (?) on a descent. The year before at the AToC as well when he won the final stage. You can't forget his rides in the breakaway in various stages of the Tour and that he also comes from a MTB background. I think he deserves high 70's or very low 80's.
Ramunas Navardauskus - Well he showed in the TDF that he is quite a good lead-out man. He deserves a raise there imo, so that he can actually take part in leadouts in PCM. He also won LBL Espoirs, came 4th at RVV Beloften and came 8th at P-R Espoirs. 61 Cobble is too low for him imo.
I guess thats it for now.....
As for teams you should add:
Nippo - Quite a lot of talented Italians who are in the db, as well as some strong Japanese riders and not to mention the Richeze bro's.
Chipotle Development Team - Lots of cool young riders, and a great jersey
Kenda 5hour Energy - Well they compete in a lot of the North American Tour Races, as well as the Tour of California.
Team Optum p/b Kelly Benefit Strategies - Well they have a fairly strong team for the American Tour and have Mike Friedman
Jelly Belly They have the coolest jerseys and they are very popular in North America despite only mediocre results. Plus Jeremy Powers.
CompetitiveCyclist.com- The team is filled with some pretty decent riders, and they have Mancebo and Rabou.
Bissel - Cant think of a reason but it would help for realistic startfields for the North America races.
Rapha Condor - Sharp
Also most of these teams were in previous releases of the PCM.daily db's.
This is based off the pre-beta though.
