A brave ride from Duenas Nevado, well done to him. Shame about Roux positioning though, must admit I hoped for better from him.
Congratulations to Heine, important victory for their battle for promotion I guess, taking back some of the points Jayco - Redbull gained in South Africa.
And a nice report mb2612, was hard to tell whether the breakaway would be pulled back or not, after the split, I definitiely hoped they would stay away |

No that's fine Vanendert. We didn't want you to get a top 10 anyway, you can sit in the peleton and not follow attacks. That's fine. Really, I'm not mad.
Muppet.
Gautier got 2 points today. Hooray.

Froome makes no sense, and everyone else underperformed. Crappy race.

Thanks, they really should have stayed away, they easily could have held them off if they had pushed the second last lap.

At least I was active and my team did exactly what I said.
Early break and mid stage attack by Hermans.
So the 16th is quite a success for me in this start list. At least some few points here.
With a bit more luck Hermans could have reached the descent with the favourites and then a top10 would have been possible but I don`t mind.
Congrats once again to Flügel. This guy is awesome, want him in my team. |

Was what I thought too, I'll blame Froome and SN
Looking very much forward to March now, we'll literally race everyday from now and a month forward. |

I was really pissed when I saw the constitution of the break and faced that there was no Cerne rider there. Only when I saw that mb meant Afonso by saying Alfonso, I got to settle my expectations for this race. So pretty happy with my youngster. Just a shame that Pires couldn't reach top20.
Anyway congrats Heine, that was a nice victory for Flugel.
The top3 teams are building a fierce rivalry, it's going to be a great fight for the top spot.

Very happy! Costa takes 6th and Soler sticks around to finish 8th.
Great screenshot of Craig Lewis's fall, mb2612.

+1
Pellizotti falling, and a week sprint by Di Maggio. Not what we had hoped for.

Not quite what I hoped for, but I guess Salerno isn't strong enough to do better than this.

I haven't got any clue why Bianchi isn't that good at the moment..
Cobo 9th is a joke when passing 5 times a "mountain" and the likes of Kessler infront of Cobo..

Yes! Getting second after a quite disappointing month will hopefully mean that there are much more to come from the team.
Roche is defiantly a great asset, since his finish once again was superb - too bad Flugel managed to stay away but I can't be too sad about that

Flüüüüüüüüüügel! Second race win from him this season (first classic win), and it's his third start
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Btw, is he a made up cyclist? Or real? Couldn't find any info by googling :-p

I took him from a long-running story on the PPDB forum. He first appears on Page 10 there, and yes, looks like a scouted rider from that game.

There's no need for apologies, as long as you keep up with those great reports

Bit of a bittersweet race, delighted with the team working together, but a shame they couldn't have made more of it then a 10th place. Guess Gerrans crashing didn't help!
Still put pressure on a lot of leaders, very good win for Flugal who is having a cracking season.
I have a horrible squad for Strade Bianchi so this could be a lean time for Jayco Red Bull. Oh well had a good run, here come the VolksWagen and Alfa Romeo's engines!

I don't really understand what it is with Vespa. This was the same race as MSR - decent performance in the break and then the supposed team leader just can't be arsed....
Bosisio was never going to win the race, but that really is a very poor performance. |

I just saw that, when you have so many leaders I'm surprised you didn't but any in your Strade Bianchi team.
