Mumbai Cyclothons Discussion

Now that's what you call an odd tactic, yet, very strangely, it's something Feillu would do - attack with 500m to go if he thought he had a chance, then get caught 30m from the line by 8 other guys.

Well, Bennati dominated that one nicely. Very nicely even.

Not surprising that Bennati won it, Kingspan on 6 definatly is.

Yes! Great 2nd for Cooke! Awesome close...

Bennati in his own league, Congrats!

Nice to see Oz`s Cooke taking an great 2nd for the team. They start pretty well into the season.
Also Kingspan is a big surprise here. First in the break then 6th in the final sprint. Very well done.

But congrats of course to Puma`s Bennati.

You're surprised, I nearly fell off the seat when I saw Colinas had got 6th, just behind Kennaugh Rolling Eyes
And that after Rigotto had got in the break..... I think i'm going to cry with pride Banana

Congrats to Bennati, I'm sure he will get several more wins this season.

Also amazing ride from kopfan's team!

Thanks for the congratulations.

Although everyone expects such performances and my team heavily relies on Bennati's results, it's still a pleasant surprise.
Actually, the second race should suit him even more, but there should be some dangerous attacks on the hills.

A really great performance by Kingspan, and a nice 2nd for Oz as well!

Awesome sprint by Bennati Grin Congrats Cio93...

For my own team, I am quite happy that Friedman managed 19th

Bennati again.. but closer this time Wink I feel a bit sorry for Meji: Manan (hope the name is correct) came close, but still a great 2nd for Meji!

Also another decent result for Oz with Cooke 5th and Simon Clarke 10th. This Cyclothons could have been worse for Oz Cycling Smile

Congratos to Puma for the double here!

Bennati Double in Mumbai, tougher this time!
Another good showing from the CD2 teams, well done guys

Nah, we feel great! Theres no way we could have beaten Bennati (obviously it was a close sprint, but if someone was to tell me Manan just beat Bennati in a sprint I'd definitely think they were lying, or that I was in a dream) , but I guess that goes to show, I did the right thing in not worry about most of my sprinters low Flat stats too much, as they still seem to be getting some good results.

Wow, congratulations to Puma for the double, and good work CTDiv2 teams (specially kopfan) for the good results. Too bad Manan couldn't win that one, though, it was really close.

Bennati pulls out the double and I'm sure starts to really put his mark on the individual rankings. Also nice job from AMEX being that close to a top 10.

5th in Mumbai 1 was meh, Mumbai 2 sees Abdallah stupidly go in a breakaway and come almost last, great sprinting that! Thank goodness Tom Last managed 25th, avoids a nil pointer.

Good to see Skuijns doing well though!

A little bit I regret not sending Vantomme here. He could have challenged Bennati a lot I think and earning many points here. But so he must go on stage hunting in stage races instead of many classics. Wink

Congrats to Puma of course for a great double and also the CT2 teams, that had a good race here with lots of attacks. Also Feillu was super strong on both classics.

Stevenag
The results was pretty average, but two guys in the break, my team chasing the second break and Lassalle attacking in the end. Can't say my team was invisible at least. Can't understand why my best sprinter has been in the breakaway in both of his races so far, and i really can't understand why i chased the late breakaway. Don't really see that being my job.
