Don't forget Cadel is 34yo, Gilbert will be the horse to bet on if he joins BMC.
If offense is the best defence, does it mean that defence is the worst defence?

Imo he'll sign for BMC, but I think Astana has a strong chance too. After all, BMC has already leaders for the cobbles (Hushovd) and the Ardennes (Evans), while Astana has nothing, and needs points.
So, is that BMC or Astana?

I think he goes to BMC. Gilbert has no issues with working for Hushovd in the cobbles. After all, they are BFF's (at least close to).

In that do you mean (for next year, of course) Omega-Pharma Quickstep or Team Lotto?

Any chance to go to Skil or Garmin?
No, he definetly won't got to Skil, that's as likely as Cavendish winning the Tour Garmin have a few classics guys to back him up quite well, and I also agree I don't think he'd go well with Ballan or Hushovd, considering Hushovd said he wants to lead BMC team at the Paris-Roubaix next year.
Hushovd and Gilbert won't be a problem together I think. They're very good friends, and even ride a lot together in training (both living in Monaco), and they could probably work something out, as the ardennes would probably be a bigger goal for Gilbert than the cobbles.
Evans and Gilbert for the same team in the ardennes is probably a bigger issue in that regard. |

He's going to BMC or Quickstep. It will probably be BMC because he thinks they have a better team.
Pozzato sucks!

That's what I was thinking too.

THE FINAL RESULTS:
BMC: 10
Astana: 2
Lotto: 1
Omega-Pharma/Quickstep: 1
Quite clearly, BMC is the most favoured team for Gilbert's signature.
Moving quickly off Gilbert, the next rider to be voted on will be: Tony Martin (HTC)
I think unfortunately he'll go to Saxobank to replace Richie Porte who may be leaving.

I would say Astana again, they have the funds and Gilbert, Martin is exactly what they need beside Kreuziger.

No way Martin will join Astana or SaxoBank, my prediction is GreenEdge. If not GreenEdge, then Skil.

I think Tony Martin will be joining either Astana, Saxo Bank or Skil... I read somewhere here that he said his choice would be surprising, then I think it'll be Skil... This time it's harder to tell. But one thing's for sure, if he joins Skil, he might not be invited to races he wants (e.g., Paris-Nice, considering that Europcar, FDJ, Cofidis and Saur stay Professional Continental). |

Marca has about as much credibility as my ass, and you being from Barcelona should know better.
On Martin, I hope he goes to a sprinterless team, though I think he's going to Greenedge.

Talking about football no doubt, but they don't need to mess things around with cycling. This was his cycling quota for this month. I hope at least they do this things right...
