The Excel DB has now been updated with renewals for all teams - except Warner Brothers, who have yet to do any. You will also now be able to see the 3171 free agents on offer.
I tend to think that the status of riders like Boonen and Spilak need to be clarified before going into the transfer season. |

all three GT winners as free agents would make things very interesting indeed.

Some nice portuguese and french FAs.
Just finished my list of targets, I'm interested in more riders than I thought.

Cattaneo will turn into a super rider Future Giro winner? 82 Mon, 79 TT if I calculated right
Then we also got a bunch of other big talents, Kamyshev will become 80 in cobbles, or McCarthy who will become 81 in hills.

Shiiiu, don't say who will be good in the future. You don't want to inflate their prices. |

Some quick facts:
41 riders with 80 or higher climbing stat, 10 of those are free agents
17 riders with 80 or higher hill stat, 3 of those are free agents, 2 of those are also over 80 in climbing (Cunego and Valverde)
15 riders with 80 or over in TT, 3 of those are free agents
16 riders with 80 or more in Cobbles, 3 of those are free agents
40 riders with 80 or more in sprinting, 7 of those are free agents.
So there are 24 free agents with main stat over 80

Damn there are many interesting riders, though I fear the Italian ones will go for sky-high prices
Heine@ He is incredible talented but as far I can tell then there are 5-6 guys who will be stars in a few years. There should be room to make some good deals though it can't be avoided that some deals will be hijacked in the very last moment. ..
I've made myself a list of around 25 riders I will take a huge look on and they are all FA... damn endless opportunities

There are several good talents in the bunch this time around (Like most years) - I do find it very nice, that there isn't too many superstars around though. These talents do have a really good shot at making it to the top, but unlike Bewley, Bakelants, Madrazo, Trofimov, Spilak and Phinney they are not dead-give-away winners. That is imo VERY nice!

True SotD, Except for Cattanao there are no riders that will become great in both Climbing and TT, iirc (not looking at the talents right now) the climbers right under him got a sucky TT (RL Andy Schleck :-p)

I don't see the problem in mentioning talents either. The DB is there for anyone. No need to list up the domestique riders, who could be good value for 50-70.000 but the talents who could be leading riders of tomorrow are already printed on the mind of 80% of the managers I would say... No need to hide those. They will reach the required wages no matter what.

Can anyone upload the stat increase file? I made a search on the forum and the links I found are all down. |
