Congrats to everyone who got a team. They were the best candidates and deserved it.
Any idea on how many managers will be accepted into the second continental tour? |

I know what it felt like to be selected - but to those that have missed out as SN said do not despair. There is the division two project also which will involve you in the Man Game.
Congrats to those names with us - some very fine applications from people who have really contributed to this website.
Advice (from mistakes I made last year):
- Don't feel too tied to the type of team you suggested in your application. Try to think where there is a gap in the market, dudi's application impressed because there was definitely an opening for a CCC/ Eastern European type squad.
- It's worth having a look at the database of riders:
https://www.pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthr...ost_269419
However this will change and current managers are not allowed to talk transfers until after the contract signings. However you can start to talk openly in your media thread about riders you would like to sign. Be wary though of upsetting other managers by naming too many riders! Bear in mind that 32 and overs will have their stats reduced and a number more riders will be in the free agents pool.
Good luck all of you and looking very much forward your play!

jph27: We are very much hoping that all the applicants who didn't get in to the CTour will stick around and be part of the division 2.

Thank you very much for choosing me I really appreciate it! And congratulations to everyone else, who've made it!
I will work on my jersey now, so I guess, I'll upload the jersey later this day! Like roturn, I've decided to create a jersey on my own
So, let's get that party started This is definitely what I call "a great start into the day"!! Thank you again!

Congratulations to the members who will get a chance to prove themselves in the continental tour - looking forward to battle against you during the season.
It sounds really interesting with another division, something I though was a no-go for some months ago. Is it relevant again because of the critt series won't return? Anyway I really think it's a great idea, and I'm looking forward to see how it will work.

Congratulations to all managers who made it
I was very dissappointed first, when I tought I maybe had to wait a season (or more) to get in this game, because I allready had the team name rady, I had seen trough the transfer list for the last season, and was so excited just to start preparing, but when I saw there was a new chance to get selected in the Continental Division II, my heart sang of joy Hope I will make it in then |

Still somewhat perplexed as to why I got picked amidst some of the other names. Anyway, I'm dying to read all the new threads.
I'm currently working on something extra special at the moment |

SN: Are we allowed to start PMing eachother discussing transfers now? It's been a real pain not to do it :-p
As Smowz referred to, wait for renewals to happen - which coincides with the transfers discussion forum reopening

Thanks a lot for the opportunity to join the management game. I'm grateful, and I'm really looking forward to get my team a jersey, to not mention the transfer season.
Lastly; the do or die question : Any idea when the transfer season opens? |

That's some great news!
Thank you a lot for choosing me out of so many applications that were really good.
Also congratulations to all new managers.
I'm really looking forward to all the stuff coming up now and later in the season.

The transfer season starts when the renewals are done, and that depends on alot of factors (Number 1 being SN's spare time, number 2 being us lazy managers doing them and sending them back to him :-p). But as it sounds the pseudo-transfer season begins with renewals begin, since we can start disscussing it in the topic for it then, and start the "secret" talking between eachother aswell ;-)

Yeh, to clarify - Transfers Discussion forum opens with renewals - so youre free to post stuff there, just like youre currently free to post stuff in media threads. Save the PMs for the 2 week zone

Congrats to all new managers, especially ANFreeman - Who made my brilliant shirt . A heavy burden now rests upon your shoulders, as we don't take to well on inactive managers
