The question in this race are if we get any points at all.
Eltink ain´t good enough for a good GC place.
Clarke ain´t no good sprinter. What was I thinking when I sent so many poor sprinters here? Briggs, Clarke, Alonso Castillo and Tzortzakis? |

Wow, thats a dangerous gap to gift to Moreno - throws in an interesting extra dynamic for the race

Eltink should score some points - HC Stage races offer points fror the first 50 in GC

Mm, would be a really big disaster if he don´t score some points then.
But we need all points we can get. Thought we lifted our form under GP Ringerike soon noticed that it was not so. |

Damn, that didn't went well, Pelizotti already got a really good gap and he should be stronger than Serpa on the next stage too!
I hope the Colombian makes his move early on one of the two hills, he can't win a sprint against Pelli and co. anyway.

Grau is certainly fighting for this, would be a great victory for UniCredit if he can pull it off

I'm just happy Bosisio is at least making an effort here. |

Well fought from Grau there. Expected him to go well out of the top 20... Will be interesting to see if he can redeem himself into the top 10 with the hilly stage

Eltink doesn´t know his limitations so well, a bit too eager to do well. Or maybe he isn´t better than this.. |

I hope Bosisio can somehow manage to slip away one stage and pick up some time. |

Will sneak the rest of this race in over the weekend now, will bring the flattish stages 8 and 9 forward to today this afternoon.
With stages 10 the big mountain one (tomorrow morning) and 11 the big hilly Time Trial (tomorrow evening)!

Starting to like this
Eltink really woke up when I was pessimistic, hope he will do a great mountain stage and maybe do better than usual on a hilly TT instead of a flat. |
