And some more Liverpool rumors
Charlie Adam from Blackpool, haven´t seen any match for Blackpool but as I have understand he is a big key to how well they have played.
And also Ashley Young from Villa they have bidded on.
There we have a really good winger..
Where do you think Birmingams Sebastian Larsson will end up? Newcastle, Blackburn? Or La liga, Valencia and Athle. Madrid seems to be intersted in him? |

It's almost certain: Adebayor will be loaned to Real Madrid from Manchester City. |

VCF signed Jonas, from Grêmio, yesterday. I've never seen him play, but it looks like our shit signing of every year. Hope I'm wrong. |

Former Portugal National Team keeper, Ricardo, has signed a contract with Leicester City, coached by Erikson. Funny thing about this is that Ricardo saved and scored a penalty that eliminated England back in Euro 2004, when Erikson was their national coach. |

Are you sleeping? Today it´s the day!
Looks like Andy Carrol to Liverpool for a big sum.
And Torres almost clear to Chelsea.
Carrol and Suarez as strikers instead of Torres is good even if it´s Fernando Torres.
And Johan Elmander as possible replacement for Carrol in Newcastle. |

Well, if they get 50 for Torres it´s okey.
Haven´t seen so much of the Premier League this season but Carrols 11 goals in 19 games compared to Torres who has done 9 goals in 23 matches, and Torres haven´t played very well. It´s just statisic I know.
And Torres is 5 years older. |

birmingham city sign obafemi martins till the end of the season.
could be an excellent piece of business.
along with davies and bentley it's been a pretty good window for the blues.

Some phenomenal last minute deals by Inter to compensate from our terrible "stand-by" approach in the summer...
We got not only Pazzini, who made the sickest debut yesterday against Palermo, but also Kharja, a decent replacement for Sneijder when he is out and not to mention Yugo Nagatome, who is really a great left back, who can play in the right side too!
Best of it all is that we have managed to offload death weight like Mancini, Rivas, Muntari and even managed to persuade Santon to play the rest of the season in Cesena, so he can get some much needed minutes on the pitch!!!
I'm a happy man.

As isso pointed out earlier, the UK transfer market values British talent way too highly. Carroll is a good player, but £35m good? Not even close.
David Villa moved for £34m (if memory serves) this summer. And while no two transfers are alike, he's a much better player.
If the deals go through as reported, Liverpool stand to lose £8m. £23m for Suarez, £35m for Carroll, and £50m for Torres. They really should've made money overall on those transfers. |

David Luiz --> Chelsea.
Plus, they loan Matic to Benfica. This is according to a portuguese newspaper.

Yeah we're paying way too much for Carrol (reportedly). I think 20m max is what we should be paying.
PS @Tuco how do you get the Euro symbol on your American keyboard? Or do you use a non-american one?

No it really isn't
It's one of the most hilarious pieces of 'business' I've seen (if it goes through)

I was also quite surprised. Don`t even heard of Carroll that many times. In Germany many great players are transfered for less than 10m and in Italy, England and Spain there are always much more money for players of the same quality. |

Yes, clear it´s a overcharge but a club in a crisis with the biggest striker moving to another club has to do something. I think they were to desperate but they really needed someone next to Suarez and Carrol and Suarez may well complement each other good.
Does not really agree that they should have earn money on Suarez and Carrol in and Torres out. Can´t see that Torres is worth more than those two together after his not so good WC and season so far.

£35m for Carroll?
Using a slightly modified phrase from a former president of a Spanish club, they have paid 10 millions for a striker and 25 millions for an Englishman. Ridiculous. |
