Landaluze is doing great to earn us our first ever KOM jersey, and hopefully not the last! His team mates should be inspired by this effort and learn that failing is not the only option for team Yamaha. |

Serpa!!! The man may be old, getting a way too big wage but he knows when to put in a strong performance! First win for the team and hopefully not the last...Great performance by the captain and his companions

and he might take the yellow jersey as well
I dont think there was ever going to be any suspense over whether he might, considering he won the stage, and started just 1 second down.

yeah... when I wrote the report I didn't realize that Taaramae started the day only one second behind Serpa.
And I also wanted to keep the tension until Serpa's finish

I hope Greipel still got the chance on the points jersey... Although slim.

Well, if he wins the last two stages he might have a real shot but the 2 Argentinians looked way stronger than him in the first stage

Finally time for my second race.. Hopefully Sergio Ortega will show he was worth the money and deliver some sort of result. But honestly, with the contenders showing up here I'm not expecting anything |

Very pleased with the performance of Augustyn once more. The others in my team all seemed to suffer on stage 2 costing me a chance of more riders highly placed. Still no team has dominated the GC the first nine places are all different teams for example.
Taaramae richly deserves the win attacking so far out like that, Serpa obviously was suffering today, but credit he had teammates around.
We can keep our fingers crossed for the two flat stages they are both criteriums... I better not tempt fate! |

I can't belive that Kessiakoff didn't even attack... He was a 3 star favorite ffs!
Didn't I tell you that Kessiakoff would end A LOT of races outside the top 10 og just within it. Finally a prediction that is so far pretty good

Well it's never nice to let go of a yellow jersey but Serpa seemed to be on his limit, so credit to Taaramae as he is the strongest guy in the peloton. Mayo and Basso getting ninth and tenth is something that shows this team do have more to offer than Serpa. Now I just hope Serpa won't lose his podium finish, since we are very close to achieve the first goal of the season!

Not all that bad stage by Bbox. If Greipel keeps the current trend, he'll win the next stage. If there are any more left.

There's one stage left
But you'll need Richeze not to continue his current trend of winning

First goal of the season have been completed thanks to Serpa and a strong performance by his loyal helpers (Mayo and Basso especially). I've never demanded Serpa to beat Taramee in a race that's much more suited for the Ikea rider. I must also mention that the reports you make Alex are great, keep it up

Ill sum it all up later, but I suspect Taaramae will have scored a ton of points here

Why would he have? It isn't like he did anything at the race. |
