So I'm thinking about buying a new notebook, since my current one is slowing down significantly and decides to just shut down every now and then.
Since PCM(14) will be the most graphically challenging game I'm going to be playing, I'd like to tailor the notebook to it. However, I can't seem to find any system requirements, so can you guys help me out with that? Doesn't need to be on maximum quality either.
Also, while we're at it, do some of you maybe even have specific suggestions for a notebook? I'd also like to use it at the university, so it shouldn't be too heavy or large (I was thinking Ultrabook?). Some sort of a mix between performance and size, with a budget preferably below 800€. I'd be glad for any hints.
You can buy pretty much a beast with that budget, me thinks. I don't have too much time to search for a brand now or PCM specs, but this is what should definitely run you PCM14 without any problems on max.
However, one problem can be that you're buying a laptop/notebook, which doesn't always have a great graphic card. Try not to buy a notebook with a bad graphic card, as it can be pain in ass to change it to a better one afterwards. Good luck!

Thanks for that. I was thinking i5 and at least 4GB RAM, good that that seems to fit. I guess the graphic card will be the crucial part, I'd be grateful for any more input.

WHAT PLANET DO YOU LIVE ON? Sorry cunego, but if I'm correct, 800€ is about 560$, which here is only enough to buy an i5 with 8GB RAM, and no dedicated video. And computers are MORE EXPENSIVE in the rest of the world, especially Europe and South America. If you are only looking at PCM, those stats shouldn't be an issue. However, when Cycling Manager Evolved releases, you'll need more power.

Did I not just say that my conversion was backwards in my head? It was a simple math error.

I live on planet earth and 800e is enough to buy a PC/laptop/notebook with specifications I named above, on this planet. I know you have your super-PC, but calm down please. There's no need to constantly point that out (I think every active user on this forum got this by now) & things like that.
Also, these things I said above should easily run him PCM14, so I don't see a problem there either.
