The route is awesome this year. Shame there isn't a more equal field this year, this would be a great tour without Sky-trains. |

Luckily, Contador has Roche, Kreuziger, Rogers and Sorensen. Valverde has Quintana, Purito has Moreno

A strong team is useless if the team leader can't finish it. |

This graph clearly shows that after 2010 we have seen reduction of doping
I have also seen another statistic about Angliru time and in 2011 Cobo was just as fast as Contador in 2008. Given his other results than that one GT, he must have been clean

Decent result from Drucker. Only a matter of time before he gets his first Pro win.

After Boonen and Cancellara, Basso will also ride Tour of Austria.
That is surprise for me, i expected him to make another foolish attemp at the Tour. Good for Sagan though, at least team will be fully focused on him.

Basso is targeting Vuelta, so Austria, Poland and Burgos will be his preparation races. |

Current standings in the Thüringen TT:
1 5 Flakemore, Campbell AUS 33:46,50
2 21 Sütterlin, Jasha TET 34:30,43
3 35 Haugaard Jensen, Kristian DEN 35:17,29
I can't make up my mind whether that's disappointing from Sütterlin or incredible from Flakemore, I tend to believe the former though.

That's a big gap by Flakemore to Sütterlin! |

Today the first battle between the sprint trains of OPQS, Lotto and Argos. Too bad there isn't a live stream

2 1 Howson, Damien AUS 34:02,70
So Sütterlin was weak AND Flakemore fast.
Still disappointing as Thüringer Energie Team is about to fold if they can't acquire new sponsors. 90% of German star riders under 30 originate from there.

That's really sad, I'm not sure what path there would be to the pro ranks for Germans without it. Nep App is moving away from there with their merger with Endura.

Two out of two for Blanco az ZLM Toer. Theo Bos takes the win ahead of Greipel and Cav. When Bos gets his postiioning right, he shows he's a force to be reckoned with.

So, if Bos got good positioning every time, could he challenge for stages at the Tour? |
