Froome will leave Sky after 2015, though. I thought I read that somewhere. Or was that Porte? one of the two, anyway.
I have read it with Porte at least. He doesn't believe he will get a real shot at a GT GC because Froome has a British passport.

Any idea on how good S. Henao is? Can he be better than his brother?
That was Porte
Sebastian Henao is Sergio's cousin, btw.

Meh, in those countries that's all the same
Hope he can be even better than his cousin, would make for another great addition to cycling |

Czech rider Frantisek Padour signed for NetApp. Decent climber.

I can bet that EBH will likely be joining Saxo this year as one of their bigger signings, unless improves over 2012 season drastically.
It will be intresting transfer season for Sky too. With Wiggins gone, that is hughe part of their budget free for a world class rider. With also likes of EBH and JTL contracts up, they leaving will free up the budget massivelu. A big name or two will be coming in.
I doubt JTL will leave and i've said it before when Sky tried to sign him this year and with his contract up this next year Betancour will likely be the big name signing i'd be 95% sure, the only other names i've heard talked about at the races are Lars Boom, Stybar, Kristoff basically a cobbler they want to target the Cobbles soon but from what i've heard there hoping Thomas or Stannard can come through so I wouldn't be surprised if they don't get one. |

Indurain's son, also named Miguel, will be riding for Caja Rural's development team.
I remember I was laughing at PCM's random name generator when Miguel Indurain appeared in my game.

I don't see any reason why Sky would keep him, considering how useless he has been since joining. Not to mention the blood passport irregularities

Preety sure he will leave. Bad press recently plus awful results.
I doubt it, unless Henao leaves, Bentacur will not be coming, too similar kind of riders to have in a team.
Boom, Stybar or Kristoff - yes, all will be under the radar for sure.
I am having doubts about those two, Thomas has far too high tendency to crash in those classics. Stannard is a beast, but is not a leader and can't finish it off most of the time, will be a deluxe dometique.

Betancur would have been at Sky this year but for him having a 3 year deal at Ag2r, and the buy-out clause that Sky didn't want to pay they don't seem to bothered about having similar riders as well.
And on Thomas and Stannard i think that's the reason there starting to look elsewhere though i'd think Thomas will start this Campaign as the team leader. |
