Question for all the haters??
Do u hate the fact that it's Froome who is winning and not your favorite??
Would u prefere them to get to last 500 meters with a bunch of 20 and start sprinting??
Like this we finally get something to see...
And if he was taking something, toen why wasn't he able to catch Cavendish's wheel?? Or are u implying he did that on purpose because he was sure his "dope" was getting him the ventoux win????? |

The "not catching Cav's wheel" could easily be Froome's lack of technique and/or his awareness of the development at the time. He isn't exactly a brilliant cyclist if you take away his power output.
I didn't really want to join this discussion, but I am going to. Froome is just a bit too obvious, and something is definitely wrong when even Danish TV2 (who are notoriously bad at being critical about anything) begins to suspect something.
Honestly, if Froome and Sky wanted to blow suspicion and doubt out of the water, why don't they release Froome's Watt/Kg figures and other readings?
It smells stinkable. |

Most likely they don't release them because his actual performance capability is probably one step ahead what he's shown in the Tour so far.
Well, maybe in the ITT was his real power, which was, according to La Gazetta dello Sport around 450 W (real Watts), produced by a 66 kg guy. 6,9 W/kg during 33 minutes.
That's a performance that ranges along with Ullrich's Arcalis power (albeit Ullrich's was at the end of a mountain stage). |

Or you know, it could be some moron asking why a climber wasn't able to grab the wheel of the world's best sprinter in a crosswind

I am quite impartial in that I'm definitely not a fanboy of any cyclist/country/team; and I don't really have any favourite riders.
I don't think if you removed Froome you would get a bunch sprint of 20; you don't have to have a rider dominating to thin out the field - look at the Vuelta last year where the top three were separated by around a minute and a half but there wasn't a bunch sprint up any of the climbs there.
As for the incident on Friday, Froome made a half-hearted attempt [by his standards] to get onto Cav's wheel before dropping back and he said that he had full confidence that his team could bring that escape group back. He also didn't realise that Mollema and Ten Dam were in there, so he was counting on the support of Belkin to reel Contador in.

So, if I'm understanding this correctly, what you're saying is that they don't release the data because it's highly suspicious? Oh, dear me. I never saw that coming. |

The world doesnt like the British!

So you saying doping is fine as long as it gives spectacular performances ? Froome's performances are on par with a souped up Armstrong, so it's painfully obvious it ain't legit. |

As usual you don't mention anything specific of course. Because that would mean knowing anything about the subject

You mean aside from the Quintana bashing that's gone on today?
But yes, pretend that didn't happen, it suits your story much better.

Thank you. I'd grown tired of telling Sky fanboys there was one Armstrong excuse they weren't using. Finally you've set things right
Also, I'm interested in how the dozen or so british posters around here that have criticized Froome's obvious doping will feel when you tell them that.
