Tom Boonen just won his first race of the year

Boonen wanted to make it a hard race, that's the main reason. He did a few pulls and there were a lot of young riders. So only 20 survived his terror |

Juan Arredondo won the Tour de Kumano.
He is doing a really good season, he won GC of the Tour de Langkawi with a stage win and a second place in the mountain finishes and second in the mountain classification, finished second in Tour of Japan and now won the Tour de Kumano with a stage win and the mountain classification.
If his contract ends this season he will go to a good Pro Tour team because of his points and great results. And we will have another young colombian riding GTs.
He just lack a result in an european race.

Ronde Van Zeeland Seaports
Sikeldam continuing with great results since he began with that impressive performance at Roubaix.

Sinkeldam is doing great.
Its just a shame Van Poppel doesnt race here. Does anybody know whether he will participate in the Vuelta?

No way they are sending a 19 year old to a GT. Would be really stupid

He could always try it. Quality has nothing to do with age. He currently drives around like he is 24-25 years old and he performs well, so why not a Vuelta?

It would burn him out. How many neo-pro's have ridden GT's? 19 year olds?

News from the First Unofficial Silvio Herklotz Fan Club
The Internationale Thüringen Rundfahrt starts Sunday, with a profile that should suit Silvio a lot.
Especially stage 3, a mountaintop finish, will be quite revealing.
If anyone thinks that Stage 1 profile looks somewhat familiar, it is.
It's the Criterium Hainleite!
The startlist is quite solid.
https://www.thueringenrundfahrt.de/tea...ahrer.html
The most prolific riders besides Herklotz are certainly Ewan, Van Baarle, Zabel, Sütterlin, Hansen, Valgren Andersen and Ludvigsson.
The winners list since 2002 gives an impression of the quality of this race.
Rohan Dennis
Wilco Kelderman
John Degenkolb
Stefan Denifl
Patrick Gretsch
Mathias Frank
Tony Martin
Kai Reus
Thomas Dekker
Joost Posthuma
Pieter Weening

I could post Wilco Kelderman fan club articles as well, but that'd probably drive you guys crazy
Oh, and very high quality race cio, I can see that fairly quickly. You can figure out why.
