An unofficial source just told NRK that there are 20-25 youths killed and floating in the water around the island. Shocking.

Not youths as in kids, but youths as in youth members of the party (think it's 18-25)...If that is what shocked you

Still trying to catch up with what has happened.

It's the first time in many, many, many years that something like this has happened in Scandinavia, so it's a little bit frightening, to be honest.

People down to the age of 14 participated in the camp. The shooter is arrested, and was seen in Oslo only 2 minutes before the bomb went off.

9 or 10 is confirmed killed.

Edit: It's very frightening, indeed. I live just 10 kilometers outside Oslo.

The Prime Minister and Minister of Justice (don't know what it is in english) have a press conference now. They confirm the arrested is norwegian. This looks more and more like a one-man-madness-mission in mye eyes; going crazy at a youth camp doesn't sound like "usual" international terrorism.

There are some sayings that the same man that was shooting at the iceland was observed by witnesses in Oslo few minutes before the bomb exploded.

This is awful.

I think the Norwegian government and police force (to name a few important parts of this) in general, handles this situation very well.

Not that I want to change the subject, but anyway:

I needed a break from the PCM.daily DB, so I decided to do a check of the site statistics.

Obviously, this is not comparable, but if you imagine a situation where PCM.daily is a Danish site, we'd be in the top 100 of the most visited (Danish) sites yesterday.

Another funny (at least to me) stat: Over the past month, PCM.daily has had more visitors than the media site that I work for (dinby.dk, owned by one of the largest media companies in Denmark).

We used to have a "country ranking" that I published on a monthly basis. I don't remember the results, but I was quite surprised when I saw that the lovely French people are the 2nd most frequent visitors of the site after the Danes. 3rd is Netherlands, 4th Germany and 5th Belgium.

50 % of the visits come from search engines. Just 28 % of the visits are direct (meaning people who type pcmdaily.com into their browser). That being said, the #1 search keyword that leads to pcmdaily.com is ... "pcm daily". 2nd is "pcmdaily", 3rd is "pcmdaily.com", and 4th is "pro cycling manager 2011".

Of the sites that refer to us, Procyclingmanager.com (PCMBenelux) are the ones who send the largest amount of people to PCM.daily. 2nd is Cyclingmanager.de, and 3rd is the official site, cycling-manager.com.

So it`s probably time to add cyclingmanager.de or better known as "Die Sattlerei" to the link section. Wink
