I am in posession of a german passport too coming from me ma's (to point out the accent ) side of the family... but I am a Luxemburgian, living in Ireland hving 2 mother tongues (Luxemburgian & German) 1 Language on the level of (and sometimes even better) natives (being English with an Irish accent ) and a bit broken French (I can read it without a problem and also I can have a conversation with a... considerable percentage, but not all of french speakers but writing it is my biggest challenge)...
Oh and I can swear in Turkish... And 2-3 sentences in several languages...
