Other Races 2013

For the Herkotz-fans: he lost 2:43, don't know the times of the other young riders.

Iglisnky played it smarest in the end, just one attack, rather than many but pointless by Voeckler.

Danny Van Poppel delivering again. Tomorrow is the queen stage.

You still have to write what race it is because that doesn't show up Wink

Clever move from Iglinskiy

Iglinsky with a great win. Gilbert looks better every day, tomorrow first victory?

So a rider like Timothy Dupont?

Pawel Poljanski, after leaving Vini in april, wins Granfondo della Vernaccia, it was also his first race in this year, because Vini didn`t registred him yet. No idea though how difficult this race was...but still, Vini lost a great rider here imo.

So the US National TT is just about to start, in what might be the most embarrassing startlist ever for a National TT, no Zabriskie, no Phinney, no Van Garderen, etc. Brent Bookwalter is probably the favorite.

Anyhow what's up with having the NC in May and not June?

Best place for the Americans. Right after the biggest race in Atoc.

Having it end of June would mean no big names at all as they don't want to go to America the week before the tour starts

Makes sense, I understand no Zabriskie and Phinney due to health, but where is Tejay? He would be they easy favorite if he were there.

Then in the end, despite the weakened competition field, Thomas Zirbel ended up upsetting the odds and taking the victory in the USA National Championships Men's Time Trial over Brent Bookwalter by 17 seconds anyhow.

Good to see Nathan Earle have a win in Japan, he is real up and coming local Oz rider and is in the right team (same local team that Haas and Von Hoff came through) to progress to a higher level. Hopefully Genesys go Pro Conti next season

Edit: Richie Porte also rode with the same outfit when they were know as Praties

They definitely lack both quality and depth, significantly.

It would disrupt his training which I presume he is doing in Europe. National Championships provide no points so there is no reason for him to be there. It is the same problem that Australia has.

I'd like to see that Arredondo guy ride in Europe. Seems a pretty decent climber.

Would like to see him in Colombia.

To give you an idea, he outclimbed Weening twice in Langkawi
