I thought I'd never make it home today, no traffic signs, road works, etc. I had to check google maps on my phone to know where I was (it'd have been embarrassing 15 years ago).
110+ km, which make it 400+ km this week, 295 km this week-end alone.
That's what happens when I'm a bit injured and can't really run (only 11 km this week).

Not the fittest of fiddles (Dodgy Heart from Birth), but did the local cycle ride today (30km) in 1hr 35 ish. Feel much better for doing it and want to start going on longer rides. But first I need to convince my parents to get me a road bike, it looks soooo much more efficient than the mountain bike I'm currently on. |

Did 90 miles today including Monte Grappa via Bocca di Forca, the 3rd hardest road climb in Italy after Zoncolan and Mortirolo (although I don't know if that accounts for the road surface, which was poor to say the least). Absolutely brutal, but after Monte Archeson, the climb is incredibly beautiful.

Not going to be able to ride for a bit. Punctured, and now have no motivation to fix it due to how old the bike is. Great time to now upgrade to something really worth riding. |

Just went riding. Parked car opens door without looking.
Hurt my hand pretty bad. Have to play the drums for 5 hours tomorrow, piano for 5 hours the day after. Thanks a lot, owner of the Alfa Romeo |

There are some excellent books on how the train responsible, maybe you should read one of these I've learned a lot from it (types of training, recuperation...) |

Out of boredom, I've gathered all my datas from strava in an excel file, and I'm working on doing a PRP (profile of record powers) with it.
Once I got all the raw data in (took some time even for a dozen of rides), I sorted them by time, then removed all entries when a more important power had been achieved over a longer period of time.
Then I added two columns : LN (time * 60*24) and Power to weight (W/kg)
So, what does my profile say ?
*drum rolls*
So far the curves on the charts with LN (T) don't really draw the straight line they should, but that might be due to an insufficient pool of datas.
Besides that it looks rather coherent (I'm like Froomey ), but nowhere near a pro (not even Mads Kaggestad in his days ).
Apparently I could sustain about 6 W/kg for more or less 1 minute and 30 seconds.
Spoiler Chris Froome dropping Aquarius in 90 seconds... 89... 88...
The most interesting aspect might here again be flawed by a lack of datas, but it seems the dots are below the theoretical line on efforts comprised between 7 and 60 minutes. You named them : Max Aerobic Power and Threshold efforts.
Funnily enough, that's exactly the kind of efforts I do in competition (running).
Go figure...
