As expected the Iranians dominate their home race. I'm curious to the time differences.

Movistar 1-2 and Valverde looks in shape.
Edit: Herrada escaped and Valverde beat Bouhanni in a sprint of a small group of around 20-25 riders.

Greipel's leadout man looks good. He surprised the sprinters with a late attack. And Farrar wins the sprint for 2nd......

This one ended halfway up Aspin.
Looks like Bouhanni can climb when can be bothered. |

Yeah, Jesus Herrada! That should give him a spot on the TdF team, really exciting for tomorrow and the big mountains, hope he can keep it up! Its fine for Valverde as well, alltho this really wasnt a test..
Speaking of Bouhanni, i read that he had trained very hard in the Vosgues going in to Tour du Sud and hoping for a spot on the FDJ roster in July. Some trainer of FDJ said that he was flying in training, looks like it have paid of, he normally shouldnt be able to get a podium on a stage like this. |

Bongiorno, the dude who got pushed off his bike at the Zoncolan, takes the win in Slovenia, making it two in a row for Bardiani. Machado finished second and takes the leader's jersey from Matthews.
Gilbert wins the queen's stage in Ster ZLM Toer and takes the lead from Kittel. He won in a group sprint.
