Chamorro is doing a great job in Tachira so far - if he can beat those two guys on s.t. with him at the moment, that would be even greater
However, I'm still trying to understand that about 60 rider group behind the Top 3 - there's no way all of these should get s.t., at least I can find no reason for this on the video. Maybe the judges thought it actually was a flat stage

Pretty solid race so far from the guys, Caruso being consistent in the top 10 as always but Cambianca in 11th is quite amazing, hopefully he'll keep it up.

Are we even in Tachira? Don't understand how my riders, in MG or ICL, barely ever join breaks, and even if they do, do shit all from it! I must be the worst in terms of identifying attacking riders

Great race for Betancur so far, but the hardest mountain stage is still to come, which plays into the hands of Contador and Nibali. |

Tachira and PN wrapped up with Istrian on top.
Spoiler Great racing for us in Tachira with Bananito securing 4 stage wins and a spot on the podium. Hopefully he can also win it at some point again but I think this year was the best shot with only two declining superstars here. Feel sorry for Chamorro DSQ, I am not sure if it was a crash or PCM made a stupid post race result decision on that last stage

No Mohoric what are you doing in your "home race" at Istrian Spring Trophy? We came with a team to dominate and completely sucked, wow. |

I expected nothing in Tachira. Got few top 10 places, Jaramillo in 11th in GC and 2nd in best climber standings. Nice I guess! |

What a set of gorgeous rides by Matthias Plarre in Istrian Spring!
A bad TT easily made up for by the smart ride on stage 2, following wheels for as long as he could hold on to them to get on the podium.
And then stage 3, with an attentive positioning going into the hill immediately capitalized on with an early attack, a way too early attack in my (and likely everyone's) opinion that somehow didn't make him run out of energy too early??
Anyway, a brilliant race for us, with a stage win, third in GC and a well deserved KoM jersey(plus 4th in the U25 for Schulze) to boost the points haul significantly.
We also made the break on every single stage to show our jersey and give good experience to our youngsters who gave it their best up there.
What an insane day today has been, three stage wins across the two forum games!

Another Teams Classification win in the bag from Paris-Nice and Stage win +
the Points Classification win for Ilias in Istria. However some riders have been underperfoeming and may most likely make room for Leinonen, Smith and Makukhin (currently the Youth Team's best riders). Still, it's way too early to decide 100% who will stay (Ludvigsson IMO is locked in for next season)

Great GC and stage wins for Nerz in focus race Paris - Nice, but I did hope for a bit better by Kreuziger and Rui Costa. To be honest I don't know whether I should be disappointed or pleased by the latter. In the classics he's been worthless, but once again he did finish sixth in the Istrian GC thanks to his time trial. Also decent by Andersen again to be 9th there. The season is going a bit too fast for me, I can't write anything in the team's thread without being like a month too late

Are you serious? Chamorro riding the race of his life on stage 9 and then DNF on the last easy day? So instead of 90 GC points we get 1. I'll have to digest that one... But well, obviously PCM wants to keep us dead last, so good job.

Nice to see my old pal Valgren doing well, very close results in these CT races.
No idea what happened to Colombo, "easy" white jersey for Tao, 10th overall, plus Ruben 16th (s.t. with Lecuisinier after 10 stages). Good stuff! Comeback Contador, the old man just can't stop. Betancur also very impressive.

Not a bad race from Kern. Obviously wasnt the strongest but in basically our worst race of the season, we still get 16th in the GC, and a 4th place stage result by Randy Thompson

Paris Nice First:
Guess it was pretty clear that Martin got hurt in his crash. We favored Brenes on stage 5 and Martin was 23 minutes back. Brenes' top 10 was pretty impressive to be fair though.
Bennett also never managed to get a top 10 in a sprint, and Houle was the only one to get in a break all week.
Obviously a horrendous race for us. A huge waste of Martin's RD's, and we're quickly hurtling towards the bottom of the rankings. That in itself would be fine, if it didn't mean that we're probably going to be even worse off budget wise next year, and we won't be able to improve much.

Now Istrian:
Well, a fully healed Martin quickly made up for his failures in France with a dominating stage win! Team controlled until the climb started, and his attack was unmatched. Basically just how we drew it up.
Not a super great defense on Stage 3 to let Boros get second and overtake us on GC, but it was a very fast finish and Martin didn't really have time to force selection (or the role to do so given the jersey). It seems the team was stretched pretty thin to defend the jersey.
Bennett again did nothing on stage 4. He has been pretty paifnul to watch this year so far.
Overall, a stage win and second on GC is just fine, though it always hurts to lose by 2 seconds. Prologue ended up being significant, as did time bonuses.
I'd say it's a nice step in the right direction though.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

Hm, not a great finish to Tachira for us, but 9th is decent from Caruso, so I can't be unhappy. Just a shame we didn't manage to get much from breakaways.
Thanks for the results Shonak!
