Plus, didn't the stage get cancelled because of the descent?
And it shouldn't have been neutralized in the first place.

So if Vuillermoz is ok after the crash can he continue despite abandoning on a cancelled stage?
It is cyclists decision. If he is injured or feels that he will get ill he can abandon the race.I didn't understand what you said here.
He crashed today and abandoned on a stage that got cancelled. So it's like the stage never happened. Can he continue the race if he is cleared of any injuries? That is my question. I don't know whats so confusing in that.

The Schleck Fan is correct, if you abandon be it a crash or just deciding to pull out then it doesn't matter if the stage is cancelled you are still counted as a DNF. Also the stage did happen but just didn't finish as points were awarded for the KOM comp today

Lol.They are not tough. The last 10 kms or so could still have been ridden.
That really wasn't a choice the race could go with, the break had a 3 minute gap with a rider in there being something like 20-30 seconds down and with only 10 k's then that rider would of taken yellow. I doubt the riders and teams would of allowed this scenario to happen
