Well, for me they were dead the day Astana let Boom ride in le Tour and the only thing they could do was to kick Astana out. They had good ideas, but they had no real power.
Idealy, WT races should make MPCC membership mandatory for teams that want to start. And the UCI should empower it. Problem is that these days no one gets along with each other anymore.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Not sure of the geography of Liege, but would it not be posible to have Redoute nearer to the finish of the LBL, as it would become more decisive and more likely to make the final selection.

It's relativaly far from Liege, the other climbs in the final are much closer.

I thought that might be the problem, all they can do I guess is stick some climbs in to try and stop the pelotón arriving at the bottom of the final climb.

That's what Evelyn Stevens did today. A huge new Hour Record that came pretty close to the all-time womens hour record. Eve is going to be very strong this year.
