Followed by stupid Tinkov babbling that Sagan could at least won 5 stages, if he was any good and do what he, Oleg, told him. While Alberto is in unfair situation because others cheat by not riding all GTs in one year.
At least 5?
Do you know it counts who is first in the line..not after line.
If he had have Alpecin..Ettix type train in front of him then maybe. Because Kittel missing...Cav and Kristoff can not find sprint legs. Best man so far Greipel who has been usually tour 3_4 th sprinter is same class as Sagan.
He has been great..will take green and also stage do not worry. |

Does anybody have more info on the beef between Froome and Nibali after todays stage??
Apparently Nibali (wrongly) thought the crash was down to Froome - Froome visited the Astana bus with Rowe they had a chat and sorted it - Nibali reported to have said it's resolved "we are cyclists not footballers"
More shocking is alleged good bike handling by Froome getting him off with just a grazed knee |

I´d say that Froome shouldn't wear yellow jersey. If Martin had had a DNF, yes, obviously, but the leader is Martin even if he doesn´t start tomorrow!
PS: Perfect Styby, same as in Strade!
PS2: Poor 2agan... I´d love seeing him winning ;(

In Germany, people start to discuss over the crash of Tony Martin.
Surprisingly, the majority wants him banned from cycling, because he bodychecked Nibali on purpose. Some even hope that he can never ride a bike again. WTF.

Stages like these makes me remember how fun the old Sagan was, ohwell :/
Also probs to Rodriguez leading out Kristoff, dont think Purito will do much in the GC however, but great to see him making some use for himself atleast(besides winning a stage)! Not like last years wasted tour entry atleast.
Was certain Nibali would win this year after Froome looked weak all(weaker than usual) year but Im not so sure anymore, Im afraid the victory battle is almost gone before its begun and Quintana and Nibbles will have to fight it out for second unless Froome cracks massively.

Nibali's eternal luck has run out this year. He was always the lucky one who never had falls or injuries in his career. Now this year he seems much more unlucky with that.
Froome on the other hand evaded almost everything. Contador is not in top shpae it looks like. And now quintana fell as well. |

This is absolutely amazing! I am following cycling for more than 10 years now, and finally I was able to see a Czech rider winning a stage in TdF. To make it more special, it was Styby winning in a beautiful tactical manner. To make it even better, Sagan was 2nd and is coming closer to another green jersey.

Crash was Martins own fault. Bit dumb to end his tour this way. |

Purito lead out Kristoff. Came in first of the gc contenders.

So Tony Martin is on his way to Hamburg right now, because he will need a surgery. His bone is split in several parts.
"I can't remember exactly what happened," Martin said. "The team put me in a really good position. On the last kilometer no one had the energy left to continue the speed. Everything slowed down, everyone was waiting. Then suddenly I hit the rear wheel of the rider in front of me. I thought I almost could stay upright, but then I went into a rider of Giant-Alpecin and I had no balance anymore. I crashed at relatively low speed, with my full weight on the left shoulder. I felt directly that something was broken. We went to make an X-Ray directly after the finish because i was thinking 'OK, maybe I am wrong. Maybe I can start tomorrow.' But now it is confirmed my clavicle is broken. This has been like a movie, an emotional roller coaster at this Tour. Now I am really sad. The team gave everything to protect the jersey today. We had again the chance to do it and try to keep it a few more days. It's really been a big success up to this point. With Stybar it was such a good moment. It's so strange to be so sad and happy together. I told Stybar to not be sad for me. I told him to enjoy his day, as he deserves it. I am sure the team will keep the morale high. That's the Tour de France. I really wish I could continue, to even just start tomorrow, even if it is broken. I wish I could honor the jersey and show it one last time with a ceremony at the start. I could enjoy it a little more than I have the last days and then stop. But it is now clear I need to go to the hospital for surgery immediately, and my race is over. It's hard to accept. I'd like to keep fighting. But the doctor has the last word, and when he says there is no way to continue I must accept this."

This makes me feel so sad for him

Guido, i dont wanna be rude, but you again proved with your reaction that you dont understand english well enough to react in reasonable way (that or you are trolling me on purpose). I was not saying I think that Sagan could have won five stages this year, that has to be pretty clear for everyone who understands that sentence. Sometimes i think you just put it into Google translator, where all meaning is lost. I have this felling for a long time, that some of our "arguments" here are caused only by total misunderstanding of my posts from your side.
Anyway, sad to read these words from Tony, but in the end, he caused it, so at least he cannot blame anyone else.
