The former is not a bug, just that Cyanide didn't implement an algorithm for those to change. You can actually currently do that with the PCM Career Explorer. They promised they would change it in PCM 16 btw.

Since installing the PCM Daily db I have to be a level 5 rider to participate in Giro & Vuelta. Ergo, I have to win a stage in a grand tour to participate in one :/ (or top-5 in a monument, but that's not going to happen soon) |

Well surely you only installed the V1, since the v1.1 that's already fixed, and the 1.2 is the last version. To make sure you fix that in ongoing careers as well, open your save in an editor, go in sta_uci_class, change gene_procyclist_pass from 4 to 3 for Giro and Vuelta.

Problem/Bug:
My team member Taaramäe finshed second at the mountain stage of Tour of Oman. Played the game with 3D. Big was my surprise though seeing him in the end of results tabel in last postion marked as "withdrawn" even though I clearly saw him crossing the finish line.
Injury news reported him injured with sprained wrist.
Ridiculous. |

Do you know whether or not this is a bug or just a part of the game(?):
My GC rider was number 1 in the overall clasification after 15th stage. On stage 16 he didn't crash or anything near that. Actually he was in perfect shape, defended the yellow jersey and finished in top 5 on that stage.
When I click further to the results section (after the podium and replay etc) it says he has abandoned with a brokan hand.
So he is suddenly injured out of nowhere? The result on the stage is neither on his palmares..
Have you ever tried this? I wonder if it is a bug or a real thing in the game. Still I think it's a bit frustrating given the fact that nothing happened to him on the stage. I would understand if he crashed..

It happens seldom but it does happen, it's not a bug but a feature that sorta tries to emulate a random injury/illness that happens while the rider is not racing.

Right. So it is just an off race injury? Like training or so?

Yeah normally the day after you'd have to know what injury it is.

Basically, he slipped walking down the stairs off the podium. Fell down. Trophy landed on his hand, breaking it. What a fool

So playing on level hard, used to play normal.
In my first career on hard level apparently all who wins the tour also easily wins the vuelta..
2015- Froome winning the tour. Froome wins the Vuelta
2016- Conta wins the tour. Conta wins the vuelta
Do you reckon this as a bug?
When I play on normal, usually all 3 grand tours have different winners which seems more realistic in my eyes...

Seems like a coincidence to me, in my careers the Vuelta is generally won by second tier climbers who haven't raced GTs at all.

Middle path between Hard and Extreme, I edited the difficulty in Local.cdb. You can do the same with the Toolset you can find in the download section btw
