Finally, Van Hoff needed that win. Very pleased for him, deserves a WT contract for sure. Wippert, he looked dead yesterday, got sick on stage 2. Some effort. Impey beating Dumoulin, was a great bet Betting started 2.10 on Impey, ended totally reversed with Impey at the end of night at 1.61.
Tomorrow should be great, but it's BMC to loose. All they need to do is just to follow Porte. Only Porte can beat Evans up that hill in their forms.
Also, that crash..ouch..that photo though
Looks like the Sky rider is dancing to Gangnam Style
Yeah, looks like a well kitted out fan taking a really inappropriate Gangnam Style selfie. |

Great win for Von Hoff. As it's been said he was unfortunate in not finding another WT contract.
Also, did anybody notice in the post race interview he said he was on Wouter Weylandt's wheel instead of Wippert?
Good 3rd for Wippert too, he keeps getting better.

Liggett has no idea, he thinks Kangaroos are intelligent! Most stupid freaking animals in Australia!

Hah, although I've seen Emus do some pretty silly things as well so Kangaroos have some competition.
The wind and echelons are out, wind speed is above 20 Km\H mark already and stronger than forecasted for this time of the day, and unless the direction changes it should indeed provide a tailwind going up Old Willunga Hill.
Edit #1: Three man breakaway consists of Jack Bobridge (UniSA), Greg Henderson (Lotto S) and Jordan Kerby (Drapac).

Any animal I can hit on a bike must have no brain.
I also hit a horse once, it's name was Sarah Jessica Parker.

Aye echelons! Astana with Evans and Dennis made it - maybe approaching 10 second gap pre climb but coming back now. |

Porte going on his best Froome impression.
Edit #1: Richie Porte wins the stage, but I feel Rohan Dennis has saved his jersey.

Porte.jar has been executed.
Well at least we saw some humane performances by the other guys!

Better check Porte's hotel, I think he's hiding Leinders in his closet.

Yeah lucky Porte is as ugly as Froome but that certainly was a alien type of performance, Dennis has the jersey

Great attack by Porte and great effort by Dennis to just about hang on by maybe 2 seconds?
Fernandez 3rd.

Bahahahaha! Love it!
Big effort from Dennis to hold on and no surprise to see Evans crack, he just hasn't got the form.

Potentially a symbolic handing over of the mantle from Evans in the end with Dennis likely to take the overall and him in 3rd. Not a bad way to go out in your home race. |

Yeah, Dennis was great. He's quite good at these 1 week races.
Moser top 10? Had no idea he was even here.

Hopefully the fact that Moreno Moser managed to finish within the top 10 for the stage means the Italian is going to recover from last year's lacklustre season and have a season closer to the year before.
