Absolutely. A single injury and they can't ride 3 races simultaneously. Europcar struggled with I think 27 this season.

Well, not a bad moment for it to happen. First race he was scheduled for is Paris-Nice.
Edit:
Even says himself that he planned a week rest around this period. So probably won't matter much, he only picks up training a little bit later

To sum it up. There was a report of Rodriguez planning to tackle the hour record, but it turned out to be a joke. Apparently, December 28 = April fools in Spain.

On a more serious note. Wanty are hoping to participate in the major Italian WT races (MSR, Giro & Lombardia), but they're also applying for the Tour and Vuelta.
