After looking at his palmares I did not notice anything special, is he a leadout man or just an ordinary domestique? |

He's a solid domestique, especially on cobbles, I think, but he's also a quite good sprinter, finishing 7th in 2013 Vattenfall Cyclassics and 8th in 2013 Brussels Cycling Classic. He also achieved a beautiful 6th place in 2013 Dwars door Vlaanderen, but IIRC he was in the breakaway first and he survived thanks to that.
IMO, he's a valuable allround domestique. |

I hope you're right. I'm kinda sick of all of those guys leaving the team after riding there at a young age and then leaving before they reach their peak.
How much more interesting for me could those cobbled classics be if Vanmarcke would still be there...
me too id be real disapointed if talansky left, garmin have a good team and the support shown by hejsedal was brill a the dauphine |

Also BMC got their first signing in Stefan Küng. A very promising Swiss talent, very strong Time Trialist, 2nd in Swiss ITT and other strong results. Also a strong roluer, winning recently Flèche Ardennaise and Tour de Normandie.
Alongside Dillier, these are two very promising Swiss talents to for future that BMC got.

Anyhow another bit of 'ITK' news, Bouhanni is a done deal to Cofidis. Soupe will follow too.

But there is going to be a change of main sponsor.

The newer Cyclingnews article said that the sponsor could stay or be new.
Unfortunate if Garmin leaves.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

Good news on Talansky as the team fits and he will get the support he needs to keep progressing.
Maybe Garmin will step down to being a secondary sponsor if a bigger one comes along, Garmin are obviously a good fit for cycling sponsorship so doubt they would back away completely

I seem to recall that Vaughters said a year ago, that Sharp would be with the team until the end of 2014 and Garmin was a "long-term" involvement, so I read that Garmin was going to be with the team beyond 2014. It was a bit of a surprise (negative) when I read the change of the sponsor is likely at the end of the year. I've really become attached to these name and colours.
I also read that Beppe Conti suggested that Sharp would be the main sponsor next year, with Wiggins coming in. |

With Belkin dropping out, there will be rumours of riders leaving. According to 'De Telegraaf', Trek Factory Racing manager Luca Guercilena is in talks with Bauke Mollema. |

A very talented climber, who won both Ronde d'Isard and Pais de Savoie.
He was in the Lotto U23 team.
