Even if it was outside of the box in moment of tackle (it really was), how do you think that referee can see that? I mean, Messi started falling somewhere above white line or maybe even in box, so it was really hard decision. Referee - human - human makes mistakes. You behave like it's only happening to Barca, c'mon...
And you seem to be big Barca hater, so i think this discussion is pointless.
For last time. THIS IS NOT A PENALTY BY THE RULES OF FOOTBALL! Whoever have problems with understanding that one simple rule (faul starting outside of the box is not a penalty) ,should really not discuss it.
Of course it is hard job for the referee, but who fucking cares? Install video or laser eyes instead of eyeballs for referee.
And it would be mistake in any game, not just because it is Barca. But yeah, i am so sad, because it is always Barca, with their diving and cheating mentality.

Or deny that 2009 was a robbery.
I wouldn't deny that the referee performance was bad in that match, of course it was (I suppose you're referring to the second leg semi final). And Chelsea would have deserved to go to the final.
What I strongly resent is the notion that every mistake a ref makes in a Barca match is part of a big conspiracy to promote them.
Barca was the best team of the years 2008-2011, simple as that. They aren't anymore, simple as that.
Also, I really don't like someone like Sergio Busquets, who falls way too theatrically. I'm not completely oblivious to that. But dear god, stop with all this "All Barca players are sooooo unsportsmanlike, they can barely play football and owe everything to the UEFA"-crap. That's BS and (I hope) you know it.

That's exactly the point: In any other match, you'd say, eh, mistakes can happen. But since it's Barca, it's totally intentional to give Barca an advantage. That's the kind of crap that I don't get.

To be fair "shit loads of mistakes" might amount to 2 per game. That's a lot less than the number of tough calls that referees get right.

Mistakes can happen of course. But if it happens again and again to benefit one team, it stinks.
You say clearly the best team in 2008-2011.
We talked about 2009 disgrace and in 2011 at Arsenal-Barca match, when RvP was sent off for second yellow for something where the card is not awarded in 99.9% of the times (kicking the ball to net after whistle in stadium where 90.000 fans roar), that was another "mistake". That sending off was a leg deciding factor. Too many mistakes that benefit Barca in CL to my liking.
About diving and unsportman like players, that is not just Busquets, Barca is full of them, like Alves, Pedro and also Xavi and Iniesta are often putting pressure on referees, that should not be tolerated.

Lol, this is just pure demagogy, I don't know if I am supposed to laugh or cry.
And FYI I don't like Barca at all.
And I like that ARS-BAR part. If you say A, why you don't say B about the first leg on Emirates? Blindness?

Have a nice day...
How the fould continues in penalty area here? Messi is flying outise of the box and there was no contact in area later. There was just one contact outside the box, rest is stumble of fauled player.
About ARS-BAR matchup in 2011, what situation is first leg you reffer to?

This is not penalty nor a disallowed goal. This is Divine Justice.

Ah, you're right I had to somehow forget about.
Die hard fan of Tom Boonen and Quickstep since 2004.
Put it this way:
1) Does he make contact with the ball?
2) Does he make contact with the player?
3) Is he tackling from behind?
4) Is it inside the penalty area?
1) No
2) Yes
3) Yes
4) Yes (but goddamn it's close and only clearly visible via multiple replay angles)
There was only ever going to be one decision there, penalty. Any ref, ANY, would have given the same decision. A lot of my FB chat today has been about this. And as a qualified 4th year ref this chat has been with other qualified refs (ranging from 3 year to 20 year!) and we all agree on this.
Why not Alaba isn't that bad from the spot.
Robben was fouled and I guess if he wasn't that hurt from the foul (shoulder/knee/pretty much everything) he would have taken the shot.
