Indeed. I must say that this is a smart 'marketing' tactic, since everyone will click this to see if it's close, and what the prize is etc.

Edit: Views were going up very fast, and when about 8 to go, I couldn't resist clicking multiple times, knowing that there have to be more people who do that, otherwise the views count wouldn't get up that fast

OK, Jesleyh gets the team selection for one of the following races:
A)
B)
C) trade it for whatever is inside this box..
Now think carefully, you can only choose one!

Oi, that's harder than it looks...
Spain might be one of the March/April races, but it can also be the Vuelta.
You know what? Gimme what's inside the box. C.

This wisdom would have been much more useful before we started the draft though.. I already failed, since I don't have a mountain leader with high TT skills |

Me neither...
I've got a young rider who's strong in the mountains, and it's even the guy in his example, Quintana

Well, Australia was pretty obvious, as there's only one race there. Spain will forever be a secret

I guess it would be GP InduraĆn...
I kinda expected a useless outcome out of the mystery box, but you never know...

CT races and finished planning
As promised yesterday, we're going to present our CT schedule today! You already know we aren't happy with it, but we'll have to make the most of it, even without Omloop Het Nieuwblad, Brabantse Pijl and Strade Bianchi. Furthermore races as Dwars Door Vlaanderen and Kuurne-Burssel-Kuurne as not even on the calendar! Why the UCI though some of these races suit us better is beyond me, but here they are:
Clasica de Almeria
Criterium International
Driedaagse De Panne-Koksijde
GP Miguel Indurain
Scheldeprijs
Rund um Koln
4 Jours de Dunkerque
Tour of Norway
Ronde van Belgie
Tour de Luxembourg
Tour de Wallonie
Vuelta a Burgos
Tour du Limousin
Parijs - Brussel
Gran Piemonte
Paris - Tours
Tour de Vendee
As you can see there's a lot of French races (no sponsor, only 1 rider) and a few Spanish races (no sponsor, no rider). No idea why we're weing sent to Norway either. We did only get 1 Italian classic, and missing out on the biggest 2 in Belgium. For us it's clear that if the UCI doesn't care about our races, we'll do the same for theirs. Don't expect too much from our bigs names in the Continental Tour, they will focus on the World Tour. Although stuff like Paris-Tours is always interesting to win.
This also means our season planning is now complete. Some names you won't see in the CT: Thomas De Gendt, Matteo Rabottini and Marzio Bruseghin, amonst others. All riders have received their individual schedule and can't wait to start the season. You'll find our preview for the Tour Down Under here soon!

Hope De Gendt can do well in World Tour races
Too bad about that schedule, hope the team has more luck during the season... |

Thanks! I guess that since this is the first season, some things aren't working properly yet, the CT schedule being one of them. Most people aren't happy with their stuff, so next season will be a bit more player-friendly I hope

I always know where to come for complaining and whining
Dont blame me, blame the UCI for having some dumb .HC races.
you're only missing 2 belgian races anyway!
They are races that suited your types of riders, and kind of followed sponsors a bit.
This season was rather player-friendly

Well, if a it's Belgian-Italian team with Gilbert and don't get invited for Omloop, Brabantse, Bianche and other Italian classics I can be a bit disappointed, no?
My personal opinion is that it wasn't player-friendly enough, as I see some people are unhappy about it as well (though maybe not as vocal ). It's true that it's the UCI decides the race category, but it was you who decided that all .HC had to be included. I don't think anyone wants to ride Langkawi or Qinghai Lake
Some people wanted more cobbles, some people wanted more dutch races, etc. While it's impossible to please all people, I think there were better ways to have made the calendar.
Suggestion for next season: all CT races are available, but only the most popular ones will be run. Some races will have 20 interested parties, they get run for sure. Other races have maybe only 5 teams interested, they don't get run and the teams get added to races where there's like 15 interested teams. More work, yes. But more realisme and happier players as well
But for this year, I'll just follow the calendar I got. Not the most exciting races, but it gives me a chance to see some stuff I usualy simulate

I like the Tour of Qinghai Lake, it's mostly hilly stages Better than cobbles of flat stages |

@ollfardh
Yes you can be disappointed, but i prioritized the italian races to the countries closest to Italy (sort of).
I had people happy to ride Quinghai and Langkwai so there
Dont forget the CT calendar was chosen with the CT teams in mind. The WT teams are there for some realism and to make up the numbers.
With a lack of major Dutch teams at CT level they were going to be few at best. There is a surprising amount of cobbles in the calendar if people look. But as almost all major classics riders are WT this was not a major priority.
We'll see about next season when it comes, but i want to keep it simplistic for everyone. This way it should be quicker to restart and continue from season to season. But regardless CT teams will always have priority over WT teams so people will still be unhappy. And i would run that if there were 15 CT teams so a race could be run with only CT teams, which currently can't happen.
You'll be surprised at how exciting some of those races will be. And others on the calendar in general. I do know all the selected race fairly well and they are all good.
@mvhoogdalem
its about 60/40 hills to sprints. And some of those hills will be bunch sprints. Should make a good GC fight.
