@Jesl
I want it at x10 a stage win. So a good Tour from a sprinter will put them in contention for individual rankings.
@ollfardh
Wear is a daily reward. The Giro+Veulta offer less points than the Tour and more than Monuments.
@fcancellara
All stage races need to work off the same reward system, and lower races wouldn't fit that sort of system quite so well

Well, I think the differences between them are too small. Winning TDU+Eneco+Pologne+Beijing equals winning all the GT's...
And I don't like Eneco being less points than the Spanish races, but that's because I'm Dutch

I think this is fine, no need to make it more complicated than necessary |

Its a 5% drop in points per step
So Beijing is 75% the points of Le Tour. Bigger gaps would devalue the races too much. GT's are not that special. And it should, in theory, make the season as a whole more competitive as each race will matter.

Well, okay, it's fine...
And personally, since I don't have a major GC contender, it doesn't seem bad...
But people would ride Beijing+Pologne rather than TDF with their leaders, since Beijing+Pologne gives less race days, but way more points.
But if you think that this is better, then it's ok

But the Tour is the Tour.. wouldn't you rather win the Tour than win Beijing / Pologne? |

I think thats good. Cause it may force people to send stronger squads to limit the losses. Hope it spreads the competition.
But who will turn down a GT just to win those? A very dumb manager who isnt in the spirit of the game, thats who

Ok, you convinced me.
Will change my tactic marginally though, since some people who can Top 10 a GT, will now not ride 2 GTs, but 1 GT and some smaller races...

I like the difference between the GT's (though Giro would give a bit more points than Vuelta) but Jesleyh is partially right. In GC victory there would be more difference between GT's and the other but that's me. Anyway in general it's a good system. |

I think that list looks really good but, as others have said, my only issue is with the gap between the Tour and the more minor WT races, surely Beijing is not 75% of the Tour? Considering that Beijing is less than 25% of the Tour in terms of stages; and doesn't have much prestige attached to it, surely it should be more around 50-60% range?
But otherwise I think it looks really good and the scale between the GT's and monuments is spot on.

But the grand tours are 3x the racedays of smaller stage races, so it would be very rewarding to skip the Grand Tours with your best riders and use their race days in smaller races to get more points.
In all, I think you should make bigger gaps. It should be all about winning and it's all about the big races.
Winning the TDF should be very incoparable. Getting a few top 10's in a different stage race shouldn't be the same.
Lastly, I like the way you're plaanning to split up races, but maybe you've overdone it a bit?
Paris-Nice + Tirreno + Dauphine + Suisse vs the rest should be enough
And then monuments - Wevelgem-Fleche-Amstel-San Sebastian - Rest maybe?
I'll adapt my first suggestion a bit, to include the good ideas here
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

I think Ollfardh and the others are right here, the gaps should be a bit bigger.

I agree, I could send a rider like Schleck to P-N and Catalunya instead of a GT, and if he won would have way more points and race days left than if he raced a GT |

@Ollfardh Nah, we're gonna stick with a system close to TMM I think... Maybe he does adjust them a bit though...

I know, just posting my suggestion
I think these numbers are a bit more focused on the important races, in case he wants to use them to scale a bit

I believe you said it already, but just to make sure:
NC's doesn't count for race days, do they?

He said nor national nor world championships count as race days!
