I'm hoping for Chava or Tony to win the WC TT

It just started raining. That will affect it somewhat.

Talk about an ugly day. The sun looks like it's coming out though, which'll favor the late starters, not that they really need the help anyway. |

Bit disappointed that the GB team management didn't replace Wiggins or Froome with someone else, just to give them a feel of a World Championship |

Probably a little late to fly someone in, and they probably didn't want to put some more fatigue in the legs of any of their RR team. |

Damn, that Spanish jersey is ugly. Watching on my phone, you can't really see the red and yellow stripe, so I thought Castroviejo was Belgian. |

What deadpool said.
But, I do feel slightly let down by it. It was obvious that Froome probably wouldn't do the worlds TT, so why select him? Most riders would jump at the chance to represent their country, I'd rather select a rider who would definately ride than someone who will probably pull out.
Oh well....

The Spanish team are wearing trade team sponsors on the sides of their jerseys...pretty fascinating, I've never seen that before.
EDIT: What I mean is it looks like each rider has their own trade teams, at least Contador does.

Can't see him holding on up the climb, based on the TTT. |

Do I get props for poo-pooing Contador's chances??? No fucking way he pulls that 40 seconds back. The Eurosport play-by-play guy whose name I'm always forgetting thinks it might be tactical, but I agree with Sean Kelly, no way he'd be that dumb. |
