I only have 2 exams, but I am also in the process of moving, so it's quite a stressful time for me

Thanks.
The bad news is that with all the exams being in July, I won't be enjoying the Tour as much as I'd want too.
Won't be enjoying the whole summer too much actually with only August left to relax and haven fun. Still if everything goes as planned during the exams August should be enough.
Do what I did when I was away during the Giro last year: Avoid newspapers and tv news. Not that hard since cycling isn't everywhere like football is....then when you have free time, download all the stages and watch them consecutively in a marathon
That doesn't really work for me. I don't really enjoy watching sports when I know they are not live. Except for really old stuff. I love those.
I'd rather watch the last 1 hour, 1 hour and half only of a stage than waiting to download the stages later.
I'll try my best to make my studding schedule in way that it doesn't interfere with the race too much.

What a great idea! I'd do that myself for the last stages of TDF this year. Only problem is I'm going to France, so I think I won't be able to avoid it there |

Good luck. That takes discipline
I like watching stuff later because I have full control: I can watch it whenever the heck I want, pause it when and as many times as I want, and at any point go "meh I'll finish it later"

Good luck Alex. I remember doing the university access exams 5 years ago, and it was kind of fun, because most of my friends and class mates went crazy and looked so incredibly stressed, some of them taking dope to stay concentrated.
Of course with me being a cycling fan, who was always being told how "cycling sucks, all of them dope", I couldn't do anything but smile.

I've given up trying to watch TDF stages when I started working in the Summer, that was, erm, a dozen of years ago. Even though I've still reasonably enjoyed what I could see of it, it doesn't bother me that much any more.
Either I have internet and not that much work and I can follow a live ticker somehow, or/and I'll just watch the highlights or the final km on eurosport, and live up with watching Saturdays and Sundays stages.
It's just cycling in the end, even more, it's a fraud. |

Speaking of exams, it's kind of annoying that the university always seems to put the, by far, hardest as the very last one. It's been like that for 4 semesters now, and this semester is no exception. Have my last one on Friday, in anatomy, physiology and mechanics, and I can't say I'm looking forward to it. Studying "sports," or whatever you name it in English, has been quite easy so far, but this one feels brutal. Hopefully I'll make it through, and somehow learn everything I need to know before Friday morning |

Good luck (that goes to all others as well)
My last exam is on Cryptography. My university has one of the best cryptography groups in the world. The lecturer introduced the unit by saying "This unit is f***ing hard". It's my hardest exam, and also the longest. It's going to be brutal

And when you're finished decrypting, you're left with the questions of the actual exam?

It's a written exam. Getting us to perform AES (or similar) by hand may be asking a bit much

Good luck all in your studies. I would give everything to have a chance to go back to studies at least for a year instead of everyday work slavery

Finally done with all the schoolwork today, after some hectic final weeks. Now there's just an easy week without working left.
In August I'll begin upper secondary school. Will be nice with some change, although it's a bit sad to leave the classmates I've been with during the last four years. Really going to enjoy the vacation this summer, as I know a there's a lot of hard work awaiting.

I don't know if my case is worst or not, but had I stayed 2 years longer, I'd be an engineer, instead of having a bachelor. I'd do the very same job (or I could do something better), and I'd have earned 500 € more (net) the first years, and something like 200 nowadays, all that having an executive status.
Meh... Don't rush out of school, kids ! |

I am currently packing all of my stuff, and I am surprised at how much crap one human being can collect in only 26 years

500 Euros more? That is not far from my whole net monthly salary

The mods are gonna have fun in the morning.....
And today in my accounting class it came up, and apparently up 98% of your paycheck can be taken away due to various taxes in Sweden (or some Euro country). Just wanted to know if this was true, as I find it hard to believe.

Honestly, the government can have my money. I'm only going to spend it on beer and icecream
And what is this studying nonsense you people keep talking about? Is it something like kickboxing? If so, I can't do it. My beer/icecream paunch would get in the way.
