RadioShack asked UCI to "fold" their license. That`s why Becca immediately started the whole merge thing. |

There won't ever be retrospective testing for anything.
Edit: And of coure, a requirement for any kind of testing is that the test is actually ready to be used.

HTC-Highroad fire Alex Rasmussen, currently riding Tour of Britain. The Dane missed doping control, plus two others from 2010.

Can we see your source? If it's right it will be a disaster for Danish cycling...

He's not fired, he's suspended.

Now there's no hope for any Danish results, and one of my favourite riders is suspended, and proporbly he will get baned from cycling for 2 years... FML!

Freire to retire from cycling, if he doesn't perform well in the WC. |

What a blinking fool! Are we allowed to replace him for the TT and RR at the worlds?

As far as I know, the final team hasn't been selected yet (?).
I think the form shown during Tour of Brittain was supposed to decide the final selection of the Danish team, so I suppose it's simply ruling him out from being selected.
It's stupid what he did though, and I have to agree with andy222c, that without Breschel and now Rasmussen, it's difficult to see how Denmark can get anything from the WC. |

As I see it, the best bet we have left (sprintwise) is Jonas Aaen Jørgensen. Unfortunately, he's not on the team, but is held in reserve. I believe they will try to win the race in breakaways. Not likely, though. |

So stupid by Alex. He is not doped, thats one thing i am 100% sure of. But most people that know a little about Alex know that he is very lazy and not professionel when it comes to training, food, whereabouts etc.
Very stupid. |

Well now he'll have two years to relax and be lazy. FFS the worlds are gone, nice contract with Garmin down the toilet and potential track medals at the Olympics gone.
For being sloppy and lazy.

Luxembourg revealed it s WC Line-Up. No big Suprise actually, except for leaving out Heymans who probably is Luxembourgs best Sprinter and the fact that there will be no ITT riders (as of now), although the lux tt champion is on the team...
RR: A.Schleck, F.Schleck, Didier, Gastauer, Drucker, Poos, Jungels (Reserve)
Jungels will also participate in the U23 TT
Womens Line Up in Denmark: Nathalie Lamborelle, Christine Majerus, Chantal Hoffmann and Fabienne Schauss

I think the rules are pretty clear. Two years suspension. That's what the chicken got and that's what Alex should get as well.
