The fix is a .cdb file. You still need the file that you're downloading now in order to use the fix. Thanks. |

Check your CM_Stages folder. If there are new files like 2005, 2010... then you probably installed it correct. Then make sure you choose the officialrelease in the options. |

Ok, this might be me being stupid. But I installed the DB, and now my PCM won't even start. Anyone else experienced this, and know what I might have done wrong?

Anyone else experience this problem or has got a solution?
During the installation the installer crashes. Sometimes at the end, sometimes with 49%...
The Bytes of this user are exactly the same than mine and I had no problems to install it.
The error says "PCMExpansio....exe isn`t working any longer. A problem avoided the correct installation. Please close it.

Reinstalled, and now it works. But my autorun won't work. I can open it, but when I press play, nothing happens. Minor issue though

I have had this problem, too. Never had a problem before the database, but so long as the game works fine (I am about to test) I will not complain. |

Change the PCMdaily.cdb (wich is the db) for the fix CrueTrue linked before in your mydoc/pcm repertory then activate the fix db in the game.
Im gettin the problem with the autorun thing and the weird textures on the podiums but apart from that, the db is geat
EDIT : Actually one minor thing too : Leopard Trek got awfull accessories colours for me (leggins and so on)!

PCM.Daily Expansion pack (official release) replace original database file (official release.cdb) which means, that after installing it, its the only database you can use (cant go back to original DB you got with the game, unless u made backup).
Fix is database file that was created based on offical release.cdb from expansion paqk and contains only strickt database informations like names, stats etc.(does not contain pictures, equipments, extra stages etc). Its pretty much the same file as official release but contains some small bug fixes that were found in original expansion pack database. You copy it to your user name/database folder and when you go to in game database option screen you will have files you can choose from: Offical release.cdb (database with some bugs) and PCMexpansionpackDBv051.cdb. (same database but with some bugs fixed)
Hope, I didnt messed up to muCH |

right...cheers heaps for that mate. so just to crystal clearly clarify - install expansion db and that is automatically incorportate into game at the expense of official release. and then we go into game, select the fix db which will mean the game has the expansion db + the fix db???

You download the main PCM.Daily expansion Pack 0.50 package (3 separate files (2.7GB), links can be found in 2nd news on the PCM.daily home page ). You install it, thet you have to download the fix (link can be found in top news on home page), which is only one .cdb file, copy that file to my documents/pcm 2011/user name/database, launch the game, go into options screen/database options, choose PCMdailyexpansionpack051.cdb as active file and enjoy Cadel Evans winning TdF

Where do i have to place part 1, 2 and 3?
In the same folder as far as I'm aware and then click #1 would be my guess.
My computer put it all into a special folder. Then i have to move it..
I think it is Documents / PCM 11 / users / Gilbert (Thats my name). Is that right?
what was the answer to this? which folder do they go in???

It doesn't really matter just try to have all three in the same place. Then click #1 and follow the steps to the installation. Make sure it installs to the PCM 11 folder in program files, and then if necessary move the database into documents/pcm 11/users/your name/ database

i thought it automatically was incorportated into the game once installed and not having to be selected as a db??? the move to users/db as a db would indicate that it has to be selected as the db to use in the game. then if so, i again dont know how the fix is selected as that too is a db in itself

documents/pcm 11/users/your name/ databas
And you should be good then.

but the fix is a db so wouldnt it have to be selected? and if you are saying the expansion pack is a db...how can both db be selected to run with in the game?
my understanding was the expansion pack is installed which automatically updates the game files. then the fix is selected as the db to run with which will ensure one is running with the expansion pack + the fix to the expansion pack in db format. am i missing something?
