The 'peleton' got small in matter of seconds
Sutherland dropped from the leading group.

Busche is still doing the pace and just Ten Dam can follow next to the Shacks. |

Another dominant performance by Shack, I wonder if they can keep this up under the tour too...

What a joke of a race. They should consider a merge with the Vuelta a Asturias. |

They will suck as usual. It seems they're peaking for the California... |

Don't forget Brajkovic. He is supposed to be their leader at Tour

Two grandads riding for the most juiced team in the recent years of this sport, winning 1-2 in a MTF over a field composed by average riders or riders who are basically having a quality training? That's pretty much a joke for me. |

I think it's great that the US teams take their 'home' tour so seriously. Not sure you could say the same of Team Sky in the Tour of Britain last year... |

Well, I think the race itself has been very well organised and the route was great. OK, so it's turned out as a bit of a procession for the Shack.
(Edited by CrueTrue: Note about the Giro edited into a spoiler tag. Please, do not reveal results / talk about the Giro in any other threads than the Week threads for the Giro)
Spoiler But then the Giro pink jersey is the same this year with Contador.
And if you criticise a race just because some of the top teams have been associated with drugs in the past, then you'll end up criticising a lot of races!!!

Nah, it's not just because of they riding for the Hog or the team domination. It's the combination of all the factors I previously mentioned. |

I see what you're saying, as basically the only ones that care about winning, are or they aren't good enough to win, Sutherland, Ten Dam, Van Garderen would be examples of riders that want to win but cant, while Horner and Levi are the ones that actually care about this race over all others.
Despite this I still find the race enjoyable. But I liked last years route better.
