Isso fails again. A day after him breaking down T.Dekker to nothing, he wins. |

How is that possibly a fail? T.Dekker, doped or not, along with Van Summeren would easily beat Roy and Roux. Since when have Roy and Roux been exceptional time trialists?
Er.
Yeah.
Never.
4th in the French Nat TT Champs for Roux this year is as good as it gets. And we don't exactly rate the French TTers as the best in the World do we?

It's not a joke. If it was a joke, there would have been a smiley added by Ruben. Ruben and Isso do not joke with each other. You can feel the hatred oozing out of the computer screen.
N.B: Oh, no I wasn't having a go at your comment Wilier

A bit of hatred is an essential ingredient in any friendship.

Konig lost 18 seconds in the last stage, and was relegated to 9th. |

I think Roger Rivière was voted best TTer ever on a L'Equipe poll during the TDF.
Anquetil was a real beast at TTing, then Rivière came and was even stronger.
Of course, even discounting the evolution of the material, any decent TTer nowadays would probably beat them, but still, there used to be a short period of time when French riders really were the best TTers in the World.
Since it takes at least two riders to say French riders, Hinault + Fignon could probably do some 1-2 and have the French considered the best TTers in the world, but that wasn't the standard result for ITT at the time, there were plenty of other valuable contenders.
Just my almost off topic 2 cents. |

The London stages were great fun today, and Ive got a further ton of pictures to sort through now
I need to go look at the sprint video aswell, because I was at around 150m to go at the finish, and Cavendish wasnt in the greatest position there.

Mouris and Keizer (3rd in this race) were 2nd and 3rd in the Dutch national ITT championships. So how is that crap then? |

Nice to see a win for Dekker and Vansummeren. The competition wasn't that weak. Roux is not a bad tt'er and everyone saw in the TDF how strong Roy is! Let's hope Dekker can prove his talent without dope.
