Fast. Strong. Young. Seems pretty good for me no matter what. And even if ovverated, will help our defence a lot

I expect he will go somewhere this summer for his release clause, but not to Arsenal, a bigger club will take him I think. Actually I think Fellaini leaving are great news indeed! Martinez can have really big budget for the start then, somewhere around 35-40M maybe, thankfully to that new TV deal as well. And I really believe he can strenghten our team massively!

Michael Laudrup is apparently close to breaking down in his talks with Swansea, because he wants much more money than they are willing to give him to spend on transfers. He would have to be incredibly lucky to get another value signing on the level of Michu and the team desperately need a striker (and possibly another centre-back if the rumours of Ashley Williams leaving are true), but without a bigger budget the team can't really become more than a mid-table regular.
And the team won't do much in the Europa League without spending considerably more money in the mean time.

Not good enough for United, so I'd also applaud if he went somewhere else rather than following Moyes
About the Laudrup rumour: It's always the same. Reasonable first season, then ends up in a fight with the board, leaves when the season is over.
I'm pretty sure he'll stay for the upcoming season, regardless of reinforcements / transfer budget. |

I like the idea of Fellaini going to the Gunners Would be very good for Arsenal to add some power midfield.

He's better than likes of Anderson's, Giggs, Nani's Young's,Fletcher's or Cleverley's that play for United now.
United big weakness is the shitty midfield, Fellaini would add strength and power to them.
Fellaini to Arsenal would be a massive scoop for them. They need a strong player in the middle of the park more than most.

There are also rumours about Arsenal and Bayerns star Alaba, who is said to be big Gunners fan since his childhood. And he could be unhappy with being forced to play left back instead his favourite DMF role.
Hard to believe, but it would not be bad at all.

Would be another scoop, although I doubt it.
Although Alaba, Jovetic, Rooney and Fellaini sounds like a nice trasnfer window too me

I am pretty sure that Alaba is one of those guys that won`t leave Bayern for the next few seasons. |

I really wonder how that "shitty midfield" managed to completely dominate the Premier League and beat Real Madrid had it not been for a questionable referee
Not saying Fellaini is a bad player - but neither do I think that he's someone capable of really making a difference in e.g. a Champions League quarter final |

Your midfield is below par. That's why if you don't strengthen it this year, you won't be dominating league at all. Chelsea and City should finish above you.
I don't really rated Madrid in last few months, played awful football at times for such side.
There's a 50 long page thread on united biggest forums called ''So we didn't sign a central midfielder'', many others agree with the view of below par midfield

Whilst i would be sad to see Fellaini go, i think it would be good for the club as all he ever talks about is moving on to a top four club, so lets cash in on him now and strengthen the team 3 or 4 new signings |

I know about the threads and discussions, but that doesn't change the fact that United completely dominated the Premier League which really shouldn't be possible if "below par midfield"or "shitty midfield" is actually true.
Besides, strengthening can also be done without buying new players. I know it's a hard concept for a closet-City fan like you (), but with Kagawa used correctly, Valencia back in form (hopefully), Cleverley continuing his development there's no limits for how far this "shitty" midfield can reach. I mean - if it was "shitty" before, and United still dominated, I almost feel sorry for the other teams if the above actually happens
That being said, I don't mind signing a midfielder. It just has to be a world-class, Champions League-capable player like Fabregas - not a mid/subtop of the table-player like Fellaini. We leave players like him for less ambitious clubs like Arsenal

Why does everyone always overlook Michael Carrick at Man U? This season he found a totally new level and was the second best English midfielder all season long. His passes were outstanding and his defensive and tactically contributions were solidly reliable. He is not a show off but he is a man that can be relied upon and will regularly deliver very good performances.
That said Man U do need a new midfielder. Fellaini is not the best out there and especially not for 24mil, but he would do the job for at least a season. Apart from him there are not many others actually available for that price and quality.
As already mentioned Bayern would be a good place to look with their ever growing number of quality midfielders.

Just to be clear, I'm fully aware of Carrick's qualities. Player of the Year at United as voted by his fellow players.
I was mentioning the players who need to and can step up their game. Carrick is as brilliant as anyone could wish for |

Well you could wish for more. I.e. Bayern's holding midfielder duo
But I agree he's a really good player.
However, you actually rate Valencia ? Not sure how he's playing for such team as United in my view...
