Why you all can't just stop nagging about doping.
It's not like you can win the tour with just doping. You still need to train damn hard, they do that. They give up many years of their lifes. And then nag about something that helps them not to be an old cripple man when they quit, or atleast help them with fulfilling our expectations?
Damn, the world is crazy. |

Well Froome hasn't been caught with anything yet, whereas Contador has been caught. I guess that makes Froome more credible. |

I believe Sky are clean,as well as Froome...others might not believe it,that's up to them.
People have different opinions on things and i accept them..
If you think Froome is doped than thats your opinion...for me he is clean and i am just enjoying TDF.
And also i hate when people wish someone to crash in cycling(which i have seen very often directed to Froome and sky)thats just poor.
Im out!Peace! |

Well atleast I have arguments to defend them, and you don't know this, but in the Netherlands you are burned to the ground if you dope, the whole media will follow you and judge you. Unlike other countries... I don't see any reason as to why they would dope and I genuinely believe they didn't dope.
I don't see "gradual improvement" as a valid argument, since it could just as well indicate that the rider started doping already as an U23 rider or junior.
Otherwise we have no reason to believe that Contador was doped before 2010, since he gradually improved the years before that.

Eufemiano and Pepe Martà beg to differ. And while it's true that a gradual improvement is not enough to be sure that a cyclist is clean, it's certainly a better sign than a big, sudden performance jump in your late 20s/early 30s.

We have a reason to believe Contador was doped before 2010 because he actually was caught... Ten Dam has never been suspicious or anything and has improved every year. If he doped since U23 he should have gotten way better results... Why is 6th in the GC so weird by the way? He was up there in last year's Vuelta aswell. He will probably drop a few spots and finish like 8th, nothing extreme in my opinion. |

True, but bear in mind I'm not defending him, just saying I will only react to hard evidence;P. If it's proved i'll judge him, if not he is just awesome? |

For example, if I pay dr. Fuentes 100 billion dollars for getting my the best doping ever, I still won't win the big races. Sure it helps, but you still need to train like a beast. And therefore, it doesn't really matter. It is about the people who are the best on the bike, as long as you think everyday that someone wins, doping is involved.
We'd a time doping was in the culture. True that, and yes it is hard to believe that someone can even times of doped riders, but yes it is easy to believe that new scientific research have helped about how to ride a goddamn bike. And yes, other training methods could be usefull too.
It is not all about doping, doping only helps like 10% if you used it. Training is all the rest, and maybe even more. Or do you think that 10 years ago, they trained the same way as nowadays? Or is science(see windturbines and so on) still on the same level? No way, it can go faster and faster as the bike, the riderpositions, the training methods improve. And yes, there might be doping and yes it is suspicious, but why nag about it if nothing is proved. Froome can just drive that bike way faster then the others, so that means that the others need to train better. Simply as that. |

Again would people be happy if Froome is indeed clean and is just very good? Or do you want for him to be doper?

Contador certainly wasn't the best example, but I was too lazy to find another doper who've improved gradually over the years.
Take Nibali instead, then. Discounting his amazing 2010, he has steadily progressed upwards since 04/05.
Also, please note that I'm not accusing Mollema or Ten Dam of anything. I'm just saying that you can't tell people to shut up and claim that there's absolutely no way they're not clean just because they've developed gradually rather than making a big jump at some point.

Given your comments so far, it's no decision to say you don't.. It's a fact.
