Wow, how can't you see the reason of Obama winning the Nobel price? God, he's the US president and has not invaded any country in 9 months! |

But, what did you expect? The peace Nobel prize lost all his credit when the winner was Al Gore. |

It's just because the norweigans are jalous that Obama just went to Denmark. And they hope, that by awarding him a prize he might show up. Tsk. |

I don't see why you guys are so surprised. I knew Obama would win when I heard he was a candidate.
Come on! You do know that Norway loves Obama, right? And USA in general? Right? Right...?
Edit: I don't see how the rider-thread about Pedro Horillo is related to this thread.

Oh yeah, everybody loves Obama. In a small village near where I live a street has been named Carrer Barack H. Obama (Carrer = Street). Of course, Obama has absolutely no relation with that village, and he has never visited it (and he'll never visit it). But, hey it's the Nobel prize, I used to thought that it's serious.
The village is NÃ quera, if someone cares. |

Kumazan makes a valid point, we should rename this thread Cafe Obama!

I've long stopped respecting or paying any attention to the nobel prizes.
Although I will admit that announcing the Chemistry Nobel at the same time as the AFLD announced the results of the Tour 2008 retesting was....interesting

Curious. My post above was edited. I dont know why. Typo? Seriously no idea.
Anyway, i just realized it was a good time to comment on Obama. I cant see why honestly. Like Doddy and a few others around, have he actually done anything measurable yet?
When you quote a post with a link which doesn't have the BB code, the post is screwed up. So I added the BB code to your post. |

We do?
I hate USA in general and I don't love Obama. 99% of all people in Norway think that all Americans are idiots.
Ok, we see all the sucky Hollywood films, drinks CocaCola and eats McDonalds. However, since USA voted for Bush twice Norwegians think that they are idiots.

I think Obama can turn the USA's perception in the international world around, but it's gonna take more than being elected.
Anyway, as we're going to politics now.. https://pcmdaily.c...ead_id=616

And just like that I've just spent 500 euros upgrading my PC. Parts will be here on saturday. On the one hand it's a lot of money. On the other hand, every piece I bought is the best on the market.
I can't wait to see how fast this thing's gonna run
(The bad part is that I'm going to have to spend the entire next Sunday assembling it and re-installing things. There's no way I'm going to pay a store a bundle of money just to not have the hassle of assembling it)

I just saw an article about the slaughter of the dolphins in the Faroe Islands.
It shocked and disgusted me. How is this allowed?
